Prompt and good value We had water flooding problems with…read morethe rugs, and he came and haul them out out of our lower level, and these roads are very very heavy brought them back perfectly clean

They picked up our dirty rug, a nice wool rug purchased at Ethan Allen. It came back still smelly…read more~ our doggie lays on it. And it still looked dirty. They came to pick it up again. A week later it was returned with a strong floral smell plus our dog odor and it still didn't look clean. I gave it almost a week to see if the smell went away~ it was nauseating me. It was so smelly that it was smelling in the other room. Not wanting to experience more failed carpet cleaning from Jewell, I took out my bissel home carpet cleaner and clear water from the tap, and proceeded to try to remove the disgusting floral smell. The carpet released foamy DIRTY disgusting water; I had to go over it twice to get rid of the foam. The carpet looks clean now but I can still smell the nauseating floral a room away. I called the owner to inquire about what the " deal" was with the dirty water from my own carpet cleaner. She told me that I could expect that because I was using " steam" cleaning on my own.( No, I was using warm water) I invited them to come and look at the DIRTY water ( I saved it in a bucket), and she said her husband was " too busy". After YELLING at me, ( to which I said I felt like she was yelling at me and she replied, "YES I AM YELLING AT YOU!!!!!), she offered to pick it back up... after suggesting the problem was MY dirty carpet cleaner, and stating that they had been in business YEARS. As though that matters to me; I have a mess on my hands. No thank you, I'll pass on a redo by Jewell. My question: Why should I pay $88 to have to spend 3 hours cleaning the carpet myself and still have to deal with a stinky nauseating smell... and to experience being yelled at by the owner? A simple apology and refund was in order. So simple. Shame on you, Jewel Rug.
