The house was in…read moredesperate need of a deep clean because my parents are elderly and unable to care for their house on their own at this point. The house is large and it was full of dust and dog hair. Matthew and his team spent over six hours doing a deep clean on the upstairs three bedrooms and two bathrooms. They also worked on the formal living and dining rooms. In the kitchen, the stove was scrubbed to sparkling brand new. They will be returning to finish the job that was bigger than we all thought and coming back biweekly to keep it maintained. I am grateful to know that my parents' house will be taken care of. It's a huge weight off of my shoulders because I live far away and I'm not able to spend as much time as needed to keep the house in shape.

A week later it was returned with a strong floral smell plus our dog odor and it still didn't look clean. I gave it almost a week to see if the smell went away~ it was nauseating me. It was so smelly that it was smelling in the other room. Not wanting to experience more failed carpet cleaning from Jewell, I took out my bissel home carpet cleaner and clear water from the tap, and proceeded to try to remove the disgusting floral smell. The carpet released foamy DIRTY disgusting water; I had to go over it twice to get rid of the foam. The carpet looks clean now but I can still smell the nauseating floral a room away. I called the owner to inquire about what the " deal" was with the dirty water from my own carpet cleaner. She told me that I could expect that because I was using " steam" cleaning on my own.( No, I was using warm water) I invited them to come and look at the DIRTY water ( I saved it in a bucket), and she said her husband was " too busy". After YELLING at me, ( to which I said I felt like she was yelling at me and she replied, "YES I AM YELLING AT YOU!!!!!), she offered to pick it back up... after suggesting the problem was MY dirty carpet cleaner, and stating that they had been in business YEARS. As though that matters to me; I have a mess on my hands. No thank you, I'll pass on a redo by Jewell. My question: Why should I pay $88 to have to spend 3 hours cleaning the carpet myself and still have to deal with a stinky nauseating smell... and to experience being yelled at by the owner? A simple apology and refund was in order. So simple. Shame on you, Jewel Rug.

I live in North Carolina but was going to be up in Moscow, Pennsylvania in three weeks and wanted the job done then. Tom emailed me back instantly - I mean instantly. To my amazement he even wanted to talk to me about my unique needs so on Sunday night at 8:30 pm I'm talking to Tom about my parent's house. Nothing deterred Tom; he is an excellent communicator (I'm in the service industry and he is beyond the best I've seen); calling with updates and calling a couple days prior and calling the morning of the job, etc. The installation crew was fantastic, respectful and professional. Excellent experience all the way around. If you look at my reviews of other businesses you'll see I don't easily give rave reviews but NP Flooring represents a level of customer service that is vanishing across all industries. Call them - you will not be sorry.
