I would caution anyone looking to hire this company that if you have anything larger than a very small apartment with few furnishings, you are going to pay thousands of dollars and wait several weeks for a complete cleanout. We hired We Do Cleanouts to clear out my sister's apartment: kitchen, bathroom, living room, and 2 small bedrooms. We removed some things ourselves prior to the cleaning crew's arrival (sofa, coffee table, drop leaf table, some fans, as well as 15-20 bags and boxes of shoes, clothes and food for donation), and asked them to leave the appliances. (To be fair the apartment closets were crammed full of clutter, which was moved into the rooms as we looked through her belongings.) The crew arrived on time and quoted me the maximum price. They were polite and efficient, but they didn't have boxes or bags to put the small loose items in. 3 hours later they told me they had filled the truck but there were still items in the apartment; they would have to come back and it would be another $350 to finish the cleanout. I asked whether they would vacuum and wipe down kitchen and bathroom surfaces, which I discussed with Nathan when I made the appointment. They looked blank and told me that was not something they did. When they arrived to finish the cleanout (a week later), they were again unprepared to bag or box the remaining items. The landlord loaned them recycling cans to carry out the items, which they unceremoniously dumped into the truck. I feel that, if they are going to charge by the truckload, they should bring a bigger truck. read more
