This dry cleaning service is by the light if you are coming from the freeway. Be careful, or you'll turn into the wrong entrance part, like I did. Lol I went by on Wednesday last week, around noon, with two dry cleaning bags in my back seat for a few weeks. And happy I did The establishment is small inside but nice and clean. Both ladies were polite and friendly when I walked in. I was offered information on different prices for each item before looking at what I bought, so that was nice. I used this dry cleaner service 2 years ago and they had fair prices because they had different owners and recently switched. I dropped off 5 dresses (3 of them little summer dresses) and a wool coat and they charged me over $$$150!!! I will never come here again. I wish I would've been informed it would've cost this much before I left my clothes here but I thought they were reasonably priced like before.. Never again read more

I was greeted upon entrance and my profile was set up and my clothes drop was quick and easy. The turnaround was the normal couple of days but I was told that another of their locations could get my suit to me the next day if needed. Worst dry cleaner EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Five star?! Their name should be ZERO star!!! Btw the other review here is for comet, not for five star cleaner. Let me tell you my story. I was looking for comet cleaner on a Saturday when yelp pointed me to this address. It turned out it was five star cleaner b/c yelp had the incorrect business info (it has been corrected now). I decided to drop off 3 items anyways since I was already there. Worst mistake ever! I picked up my dry cleaning the following Monday. It cost me more than $20 for two skirts and a blouse. After I got home, I didn't see an itemized receipt and found my blouse damaged!!! It has snags all over and two huge ones on the back. I called the store immediately. The manager asked me to bring it back the next day. I returned to the store the following day with my blouse. I rarely wear this blouse so it is relatively new and cost me about $100. The manager refunded me the cost of the dry cleaning after i demanded it but refused to compensate the damage of my blouse unless I leave my blouse there permanently. Then she said the owner has to take a look at it to determine the cost of the damage so she asked me to leave my blouse in the store which i did. A few days later, I got a phone call from a woman who sounded very rude and unreasonable. Apparently she was the owner. She started by accusing me of damaging my own blouse and said I dropped off a damaged blouse at the beginning. I was so mad! Why would I damage my own blouse then demand money from the dry cleaner? She said there was a damaged tag with my blouse when I picked it up. That was a complete lie b/c not only did I not see a damaged tag there wasn't even an itemized receipt! She was so mean and disrespectful to me on the phone, I was completely shocked. How could a business treat its customers like this?! You should be shamed of your practice, zero star cleaner!!! I took 2 dresses and one sweater to this location. I pointed out the spots on each item and they noted them. When I picked them up, the garments were all nicely pressed and hung. However, the spots were all still there, just as I left them - now pressed in and set. Diane and Hussan both said they were waiting for my permission to work on them ??? AND, they charged me $40. Received a call a few hrs later regarding a formal dress that was going to be a significant charge. They called to inform me of price before they did it and saved me from a huge shock. Love that. Dry cleaning has a one upper on my own desire to do laundry myself. That being said, it still seems to be a challenge getting myself there to drop it off for someone else to do. Luckily Comet Cleaners has location and convenience going for it. They are always prompt and have been nothing but curteous in my numerous trips there. There have been 2 occasions that were slip ups: 1. They lost one of my boyfriend's work shirts (he wasn't too upset, but if it was me there would've been a throw down) and 2. They charged me for dry cleaning my dress that turned out to be permanently stained with the colors of my NOLA mardi gras beads. I mean it was already a tough loss - give a girl a break! All in all though, I will continue to be a loyal customer and the fact that Culver's frozen custard is next door doesn't hurt either. :) read more

Took 2 shirts in to have laundered. Should have gotten receipt for charges in advance. They up-charged me without my permission claiming that 1 of the shirts had to be dry cleaned as the label said. I expressed my displeasure and they did not seem to care. So I paid my bill as I always pay my bills. When I got home, I decided to check the label. It said machine wash. They LIED to me! I have only been using this cleaners for about a month as they are much closer to my home. This is the first problem that I have ever had with a dry cleaning/laundry company in my life. I guess I will go back to my previous cleaners as they treated me like a KING! Pretty poor business decision on their part.
