If you're looking for a little urban flavor in your haircutting experience, go to Perfect Style at…read morethe Main-Cross intersection in Malden. Not only does Perfect Style feature a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere, the people there are very friendly. The HD TV mounted on the wall doesn't hurt things, either! While the perks are good, the primary reasons for going to Perfect Style are the superior workmanship and the affordability. My hair had been overgrown by several months when I walked into Perfect Style. When I left, I looked like a new person. The attention to detail given to me by Jake was incredible. I've unfortunately paid upwards of $30 for haircuts that didn't come out half as good and precise as the cut I got at Perfect Style. I keep mentioning price, so you're probably wondering how much the haircut was already. $10. I kid you not. Ten. One Zero. I was in disbelief when I learned that a "perfect style" haircut was only $10. At first, I was kind of nervous going into the situation. After all, the phrase "Ten Dollar Haircut" isn't exactly an endearing one. However, despite paying $10 for the haircut, I left with a "Fifty Dollar Haircut". I don't know how they do it. I almost felt guilty leaving the place, having only paid $10 for such an outstanding experience (although I did give Jake a good tip to help make up for it). I cannot imagine going anywhere else for a haircut ever again. If you're ever in the area and in need of a trim, go to Perfect Style. They live up to their namesake.

Called up, I was in the chair in 45 minutes. Nick is an artist. Meticulous, friendly, loves his work, and 100% knows what he's doing. That kind of communication you don't see until you walk out with a haircut or beard trim you never asked for in most places. The shop itself is a true barbershop: great music, great energy, Bruins were on, all the chairs were full with happy customers.
