My daughter LOVES Camp Oasis! She'll probably attend again next year. Maybe…read more The program is decent and cost effective. Also, they always put on a cute show at the end of the two week program. Plus, the kids swim everyday in the neighboring pool. Why three stars? I honestly can't get passed the fact the kids have to sit on the floor to eat their lunch. I get that there may not be enough tables to accommodate a large number of children, but this is a paid camp. Why don't you invest in more tables or mats or something? Eating food sitting on the floor is highly unsanitary. Do you eat food sitting on the bare floor? I bet not. But, the camp counselors eat their lunches at the tables. Please change this practice; tables don't cost THAT much.

They do a great job keeping the days fun, active, and really well organized. There's always a mix of sports, games, and creative activities, so the kids are never bored. They come home tired (in the best way) and excited to go back the next day. It's been a great fit for our family and we'll definitely be back again this year. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and safe summer camp!

We had a very troubling experience with this Goddard School…read more We disclosed our son's ADHD prior to enrollment and explained that his medication was actively being adjusted. Despite this, he was given only a few days to acclimate before being sent home, briefly allowed back after a meeting, and then dismissed entirely -- without a reasonable adjustment period or meaningful accommodations. His twin sibling was allowed to remain enrolled. During one meeting, the owner, Melvise Powell, yelled at my husband and me and abruptly told us to leave her office. We also became aware that another individual appeared to be listening in via the office phone without our knowledge, which raised serious concerns under Maryland's two-party consent law. When this was pointed out, the meeting was immediately ended and we were ordered out. Additionally, our daughter later reported that an employee would pinch her when she did not nap, which we found extremely alarming and concerning. ADHD is a recognized disability under the ADA, and excluding a child without attempting reasonable accommodations -- combined with unprofessional conduct and concerning reports about staff behavior -- raises serious concerns. Based on our experience, the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional, and families should steer clear of this school!!

I pulled my child out of camp before the summer end. The camp has a "strict" conduct policy on paper that is clearly not enforced by the camp counselors or the camp director. Several calls to the camp owner went unreturned. We also experienced theft of a few nominal items, after which we learned take nothing of value to camp with you. One kid was even caught red-handed with my child's toy (taken from his backpack), but not disciplined for the theft. There are lots of other options in Carroll county, I suggest finding an alternative to this place if you care about the safety of your child.

Traffic getting in and out was horrible and people eating up parking at centennial party then dodging traffic on Centennial lane. With the amount of people the restroom ended up being unusable by about the half way point. Water all over the floor and trash cans overflowing.
