Obsesssssed with this place. The food and vibes are just great. I love the patio in the summer and the laid back atmosphere in the winter. The food is always good and hot. The service is kind and you should always treat local staff with love!!

Honestly-- one of my top breweries In Michigan.. and that says something as I've been to over 90 in the state of Michigan. Delicious food, the turkey crunch wrap.. delish! Paired with some chips and French onion dip.. a perfect lunch. The beers were delicious, and just the vibe outside was great. Shaded outside seating with views of the lake, just the right summertime feel. The service was also super friendly and fast! Highly recommend!

Went for lunch with our group of 7 kids. We ate outside and appreciated the large outdoor space, ample shade, and yard games. The crunch wrap and salads were all fantastic! We shared a beer flight--they have quite the variety on tap! Very good! Kids all got the pizzas and they enjoyed them. Staff are very friendly and food came relatively quickly. The inside is also large and has a fun atmosphere with cool coastal murals. The serving style at the moment is to order at the bar and come back to get your food when your buzzer alerts you that the food is ready. It works! We would definitely go back!

Good first attempt at comedy night, still need to work out a couple things, but overall all good experience.

Service was fantastic and everyone was friendly. Order at the bar. Get your drinks and pick a seat. Then they buzz you when food is ready and you pick up from kitchen! Genius for a busy summer place. Lots of outdoor seating. Fun family games available. Beer was delicious. Tried a flight. The pretzel with cheese sauce best thing we ordered!!! Great kids menu. We will be back when in the area.

Beer menu. There is also liquor, wine and cider

We really enjoyed the Five Shores Crunchwrap with an extra side of beer cheese. My fiancé got a flat bread and it wasn't great. Very small and underwhelming for the price. The outdoor patio section is great and we both enjoyed our beers!

Service, food and outdoor atmosphere are always wonderful. We love that the picnic table area is dog friendly and always bring our lab.

Stopped at this brewery during our day out in Beulah and Crystal Lake. The vibe inside is inviting, crisp/clean decor (different shades of blues on the walls and tall ceiling with a lot of natural light). Enjoyed the beer we tried (honestly can't recall the names) and their quick order menu. Their pretzel was tasty w/everything bagel seasoning. It's very kid friendly too and in warm summer/fall days they have a large outdoor patio space with picnic tables.

I've been very cautious during COVID, and this place exceeded my expectations. Great place to sit outside and enjoy a couple of beers.

Ok, TLB is brewery #263 for me. This was my second brewery for today before heading off to my hotel…read moreand it was definitely a great stop. I always try to review a brewery based on beers alone but sometimes it's hard. Sometimes I stop in and the vibe is just not good, or the service sucks, but neither was the case here. Great vibe, friendly staff and patrons. And as I will get to in a moment, the beer was great too. This is a small brewery with a one barrel system and a small tasting room. It's size belies it's impact though. The beers were really good, although I will not review them in depth individually. Sorry but I ended up chatting with Jameson, the owner, as well as a couple of patrons at the bar. The beer highlights for me were the blueberry and the barrel aged red. SWPFTD would enjoy the barrel aged red. In fact it might have made her PD if you know what I mean. You probably don't but if you don't take the time to figure it out you never will. Your loss... Of course your loss could be your time in figuring it out. This is going to be a short but enthusiastic review. I would definitely recommend stopping in at Third Life Brewing if you are in the area. Of course it would be really hard to stop in if you aren't in the area. In fact I'm hoping to stop in again since I missed picking up a TLB sticker for my RV fridge which is covered in brewery stickers. Maybe Jameson will read this and reach out to offer up a sticker. (Awesome name by the way...) If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you! I hope my confidence is not misplaced.

My party suggested we stick around for dinner too, which I wasn't going to object to. I wasn't surprised to hear that we'd have a 35-minute wait on a Saturday. The staff was very accommodating and offered an empty room upstairs to wait and pass the time with some games. We asked if we could order some cocktails, and luckily the answer was yes. We placed an order with the hostess, and she brought those upstairs. Later, when there was a Shirley Temple spill, staff was gracious and whipped up another drink right away. Hospitality deserves five stars alone. What else deserves five stars? The cocktails of course. I had two "hotties," which were perfect with the wintry weather...and smart thinking. Who really wants a cold drink in January? The menu is simple, and much of the food is locally-sourced (huzzah). I vegetarian-ized the Christmas Dinner pizza, and it needed the saltiness/fatiness of the sausage. Still, I'll give points for creativity. Four stars. I get destination vibes from this spot, and I know I'll need to return in the summer months for the most optimal experience...but I was overall impressed with my winter trip. Five stars for Iron Fish Distillery!

The separate little shop they had where you could buy the liquor they make was really cute and unique. I liked the cozy, clean interior and overall feel. We already want to go back!
