The pizza is outstanding. I had the Prosciutto and basil by the slice and we had the garlic knots with sauce. It was all great and very authentic to what you can get In Italian restaurant in the USA. The dough was amazing. It was chewy as well as soft. Hard to explain but worth the money you spend. One thing I didn't like is the short time the servers took to help and it was not very clean outside on the patio. Not sure what the hype is about here.... This place was packed when we arrived for dinner but fortunately there was a table open for our small party of 2. Five points has been on my list of places I need to visit for a while. I went with a friend on a Saturday night and it was very busy. We luckily found two spots at the bar. We started with beer and garlic knots. The local beer selection on draft was great. The knots meh. They are not for me. My friend loved them. We ordered two slices of pizza and had them double cut so we could share each slice. I really enjoyed both the veggie of the day special and prosciutto and basil. I called to order a 14" supreme (pepperoni, Italian sausage, bell peppers, onion, mushrooms) and replace shredded mozz with fresh mozz, was told to pick it up in 20 minutes. I did, got it at the takeout window, and it was ready for me. About $20 post-tax, huge pizza, enough for 2-3 meals. It was just okay though, the fresh mozz was a bit hard, and for my first slice of pizza, all the toppings stuck on the cheese which wasn't cut cleanly from the cheese on the next slice, so all the toppings slid off. I stopped in to try a slice of their pizza. I got their meat pizza of the day which had bacon with mushrooms and green peppers. All the vegetables were really fresh, and the bacon was high quality. The pizza was foldable, but I would have preferred it to be a bit crispier than it was. The establishment itself was very clean, and the workers were friendly. I loved how they had two separate area depending whether you wanted to dine in or takeout. If you did just want to buy a slice, they do have seating available for you to eat inside. When in Nashville, this is THE place to grab a NY-style slice. It's not all hot chicken and BBQ when in Tennessee. This Five Points establishment sits in a great part of East Nashville. Constant foot traffic, and always busy, considering the few times I've been. One side is order at the counter, while the other half of the restaurant is a more substantial dining room if you're looking to hang out. On this last particular visit, we opted for the quicker in-and-out experience. If it's your first time, I'd recommend the Prosciutto & Basil slice. It's one of their signatures, plus not a classic combination you see at many pizza joints. However, their Pepperoni slice is one of my favorites. Loaded with thinly sliced pepperoni and baked to the perfect NY crisp. Red pepper and Parm go a long way with this slice, so go crazy with it. Once you see that beautiful sheen of grease spilling onto your paper plate, you know you're in the right place. I can't imagine visiting Nashville and not making a brief pit stop here. Since we were around the strips , the windows pick up section is actually Open till 1am just not the restaurant itself(However, do recommend to double check by calling them before you head over there). Midnight pizza is perfect but only with one issue, that many others flavors are sold out by then. We were trying to also order the signature item (the garlic breads) which it was gone already (I did went back for it !) Anyway, we got the prosciutto pizza, pepperoni and vegetable, it was all amazing: thin, cheesy with just the perfect amount of ingredients with no greasy drip. The crust was thin but still had a chewing texture to it. The garlic breads looks like a regular size cinnamon buns, where you can place a order of 4 pieces or 8, we had 5 girls in the group and we only finish one box with 8, which is quite filling . The place I planned on going to for dinner was closed and my backup was also closed, so I ended up scrambling to find some place on Yelp and saw high ratings for this place. I was starving so I came here as a pre-dinner meal. I ordered the prosciutto and basil ($5) which was unique and I really liked it! The prosciutto added a nice saltiness and the basil was nice and fresh. I've surprisingly never had prosciutto on pizza but I might have found my new favorite pizza topping! As a frequent visitor of Five Points Pizza who tells all their friends about coming here when they visit, I was a little disappointed in my last visit. The problem was that I ordered a veggie slice. When I looked at it, I didn't see any veggies. I also asked my friend is this veggie? And he said there had to be a mistake. The place has no parking except for on the street, soooo- Beware of the rip-off parking across the street a mere 30 feet away for $6 hour with no 1/2 hr options, so we got hosed for $12 right out of the lot! This pizza is really very good! The crust is perfectly thin with a tiny crunch (if you get the plain cheese... most that have toppings don't seem to have much of a crispness like the cheese does)! It's been a major struggle to find good pizza in TN but this definitely is the best spot I've found so far. It's the closest you'll get to NY / NJ Pizza. They have a thin crust and they don't load tons of garlic on the pizza. It's a bit greasy but very solid slice you'll get here. Most pizza in TN is chewy and the dough is blown up.
