Interiors are great, fantastic stuff on display, friendly and attentive staff - especially on the super busy and packed Sunday morning. Coffee and food was there before you know it. I had the avo mash with the perfectly poached egg. We will definitely be back. Could have been five stars, but it was too noisy to be comfortable. I had to fight off feeling rushed and on edge as I read the Sunday papers. Maybe on a quieter afternoon, everything will come together. They have the best cinnamon rolls in New Zealand.

Also, they have a fab menu mostly vegetarian I think, wholesome and delicious gastronomy. Staff are friendly, happy and will help you decide on what u want, if you are overwhelmed! There aren't many places that make a proper long black but Teedy does, water on the side not in the cup, that is sacrilege, you dilute the caffeine content. The space is cool too, big and airy with plenty of seats and if you don't mind pigeons there is outdoor seating too. Inside the crates for tables are pretty cool and add to the relaxed vibe. Teed Street Larder is one of those places you can stay a while, order a coffee or two and just chill out. Easily also one of the best places to get a double shot of the good stuff.

Having spent next to no time in the area, I was stoked to find C&G, and even more stoked when I walked in and saw they use Kokako beans. For brekkie, I ordered the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, which came out with dressed salad of rocket, onion and capers. I usually prefer such accompaniments on my bagel, undressed, but with the generous amount of salmon and C.C already on there I totally forgot about it. Also, they mix fresh herbs through their cream cheese - big tick in my book. Perhaps, what stood for me the most though, was the service. Just little things - like the barista chatting to me while she made my coffee, bringing over water as soon as I sat down or asking how my meal was part way through - sometimes it's just the little things that make all the difference. On a final note, they have terrariums for table numbers!

We are actually ate here twice because the food was that good! It looks like the owners go to great lengths to offer alternatives to the traditional baked goods you find in most coffee shops. This includes things like muffins that are dairy free and wheat free, yummy breakfasts that are nearly Paleo, and plenty of other treats. I'm a fan and would eat here regularly if I lived in the Auckland area. It looks like locals have discovered this place as well, as we saw lots of them coming and going. The workers were uniformly friendly and helpful! Looks like a nice place to work. When we come back through Auckland again, I'll definitely be back!

Booked in for a 7:30 catchup enroute to work and the quick service and prompt order taking and delivery was spectacular. I have been to cafés before in groups of over 10 and you usually have to wait for ages to get your orders out to you. This is the perfect place for when you are in a group but don't want to spend ages waiting to be served. The meals arrived within 10 mins of ordering and was well presented and quite yummy. The veggie eggs bene was better than other places I have tried and my friends liked the mush on toast and the Spanish Omelette. Would def recommend this place and will be visiting again very shortly. Ps. Forgot to mention, the coffee was quite good as well.

Anticipating that it would be busy on a Sunday I popped in the day before to see if we could book a table. We couldn't for brunch - they take bookings during the week only. Undaunted we rocked up mid-morning today and while full, we were seated within five minutes. Tea and coffee orders were taken and we were warned of a wait of around half an hour for mains due to them being very busy. The menu was extensive and has breakfast/brunch and lunch options. There were some familiar items, staples at previous locations such as sticky black rice and potato and feta cakes. Kerry recognised the chef from Jafa and was happy. The food took as long as we were warned but it was all worth it. Ryan opted for French Toast with Bacon which looked and I'm sure tasted spectacular. Kris on a pre Japan budget went for a couple of sides, a potato cake with smoked salmon which was presented nicely. Luke as he usually does headed straight for the lunch menu and had some sort of chorizo stew I didn't catch the name of. Kerry and I opted for the same thing - the Red Flannel Hash. I assume the name refers to all the red ingredients and the dish itself was perfect; fried baby red potatoes, red onions, chorizo and poached eggs. It all worked and the sautéed red onions added a delightful sweetness to the dish. As we paid the bill Kerry struck up an almost fanboy discussion with the owner reminiscing about previous brunches at previous locations. Kerry was home at last. It was cute to watch.
