Always great food. Good service. Cute red and white themed area. Outside seating for people with pets.

    Anemic tomato... in summer?
    Michele H.

My 2 sons and I dined here on Sunday, August 16 2020. We are never coming back. I got a small cheeseburger, my boys got regular sized. They told us the drink machine was "down" and were selling bottles of water (16 oz) and coke products. We got 2 waters and a bottle of iced tea. Add a large fries for us to share. The total was 46.58. For 3 burgers , one large fries and 3 small bottled drinks. The fries are very good! They came in a bag with - literally- 19 packets of ketchup mixed in with the fries that we had to fish out. I chomped on a big piece of bone in my burger. The tomato on my son's burger looked anemic - really, with all the summer red tomatoes available, where the heck are these people getting their produce??? So disappointed- this place used to be so good.

The burger was pretty good (bacon cheeseburger all the way) but the fries were disgusting. So much salt they were inedible.

The store itself offers a couple of self-checkout lines, attendant lines (2), made-to-order kiosk (3), self serve coffee and drink stations, lottery machines, mobile pick-up, a small section of convenience items, pre-made food and pastries, as well as tobacco and alcohol. Compared to other locations, I felt this store was very small and offered a lot less than other Wawa's I have shopped at (it could be that we are located in a smaller area). My one complaint is the pre-made heated food was burnt, my husband could not finish eating his sausage croissant, we are understanding- it's first day and your still trying to adjust QC and the like. There is parking directly in front of the store and as well as on the left of the store (if facing it). There are several gas pumps for those needing fuel. Overall, it was a nice Wawa, I just wish the store itself was a little bigger and they had a wider selection of items. I'm still very happy that Wawa has come to down, I only wish I would have gotten there a little early to get some swag (the shirt). The goose was very friendly and engaging:)

They were so delicious and i dont think ive tasted better nuggets. They were crispy, spicy but not too spicy, with the right amount of sweetness too it. The service was reall great too! You could tell that the employees respected each other and their manager, and they did spark up conversation with us while we waited! They were very kind to us. The ambiance was also very nice. It was late at night and the place was empty since it was late. But it still felt nice and it was very clean. I loved it so much! I recommend it to others! Especially the saucy nuggs!

I had a Dave's double combo. The fries were good. Fresh and hot. I'd order a Diet Coke, I don't know what they gave me, but it was nasty. Even now four hours later, I still have a horrible aftertaste in my mouth. I had only taken that one sip of it. It definitely was not Diet Coke. I wanted no mayonnaise. They put only mustard, onions, and I think that was it along with the bun and two burgers. They even left the cheese out. I travel a lot, and unfortunately eat at a lot of fast food restaurants, and I would write this amongst the worst five in the eastern half of the United States. That includes all fast food restaurants, not just one chain.

The space itself gives you a family bar feeling. Looks like it would be a great locals spot. They had enough tables for any size groups and it was very clean. For appetizers we had the fried pickles and pork rinds. I'd give the fried pickles a 2/5, they had flavor but lacked crunch. The breading was missing on 80% of the pickle. The pork rinds, FRIEND, those were probably the highlight of my meal. The sizzle and pop, the crunch, flavor...I'm drooling just thinking about them again. I don't think I can ever have them from a bag again. 5/5 Main Coarse we ordered the mac-n-skilled with pulled pork, the kids chicken taco with tots, brisket stuff shells, and brisket Philly cheesesteak with a side of hush puppies. Mac-n-skillet, the meat was a tad bit dry but had a good amount of cheese. Creamy. Only downside was the pork. 3.5/5. The Brisket Philly was cheesy, meat was good, great flavor just a bit too greasy. Hush puppies were good, nothing stood out in particular. 4/5. The kids chicken taco and tots were ok. Not enough cheese and the tortilla was hard, tots were just right. 3.5/5. The brisket stuffed shells were unique, loved the flavor just a bit too much cheese to meat ratio for me personally. The brisket was cooked perfectly. Would order again. 5/5 We were in and out in less than an hour. We were never rushed and the atmosphere was warm. The prices are reasonable as well.

This place started around 1952. The order was given from a touch tone phone at the table to the front counter. We thought tnat some of the younger customers would not know how to use a dial telephone. Drive through service is also available, as it has been since the 1950's. Ordered a burger basket (burger and fries) $8., a chicken tender basket (five chicken tenders with fries) $11.50, onion rings, chocolate malted milkshake, chocolate ice cream dish, We got the food in about fifteen minutes brought to our table. Very reasonable. The 2 oz burger that I received was worst of all the items that I had. It was tasteless and reminded me of a smalll burger at Burger King. 1.5 stars. do not recommend it. We hope that the recipe for the burger would be improved. The crinkle cut French fries were average 3 to 3.5 stars and not plentiful. Could have used more. The onion rings were one of the two great items that we had. They were very good in every way. 4 plus stars. My mallted milk shake was good and the price was reasonable. It was appropriate for a 1950's restaurant. 4 stars. The chicken tenders were large had good taste. 4 stars. Rolls came with the chicken tenders. They were soft and had good taste. 4 stars. The chocolate ice cream, along with the onion rings was the standout best item that we had. 5 stars for the chocolate ice cream. It was creamy with a deep chocolate flavor and the ingredients in it were quality ingredients. Loved it. We enjoyed the good music with the meal. Everyone who worked there was very nice to us, including the manager. We will love to dine there again and hope that it can be soon. Thank you for the nice 1950's style food.

I got a cinnamon roll bigger than my hand to go when we checked out after breakfast. We were promptly greeted upon entry and sat in a booth. My husband covered cream chipped beef because that's not something we usually see on menus near us. I got biscuits and sausage gravy. The portions were HUGE. We could have done with a half serving of that was an option or shared. My husband thought his chipped beef was a little floury but my gravy was good. I did have to add some salt and pepper to my eggs which I guess I can understand that maybe people don't want them pre salted in case they are on a restricted diet. Pricing was reasonable for the portion size. $35 for 2 people with my to go pastry before tip. The restaurant has a bit of an old timer feel. It's been in business since 1947 which is pretty cool. They also have signs about closed areas for groups and they accept buses. If I'm in the area again, I think I'll try an eclair. My cinnamon roll was super moist which I was honestly pleasantly surprised by since it was a to go pastry. They also have a fridge with glass door that showed other to go options like the chopped beef and cinnamon apples.
