The burger was amazing, fresh, flavorful, and definitely lived up to the hype. The fries were really good too. The place was packed when I went, and there wasn't much seating available, so I got my order to go and took it back to my office. The service was good, and by the time I got back, my food was still at a good temperature and tasted fresh. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. Now I understand why everyone at work has been telling me about it!

At first looks from the outside of this restaurant it's a little Misled. Doesn't look like your typical welcoming place to eat. Not in a bad way it's just different. Well let me tell you.... This is our new favorite spot to go. Out of everywhere we've tried in Tallahassee, this place In Monticello (30 min drive) is by far our favorite spot! First off... the service. The waitress's here are so welcoming and warm! They take their time to talk to you and make you feel at home! They don't miss a thing! Their in your head before your able to ask for Something, they're ON it already. Amazing service. Now for the food... wow. Just wow. From the wings, burgers, fried shrimp... comes out fresh and piping hot! You have the choice to season your fries with ranch, Cajun, a few other choices. We did the Cajun today, YUMMMM. All their sauces are made in house. Homemade blue cheese (outstanding), French fry juice which is a fry dip they give you for free on the side. Reminds me a little of Big Mac sauce but better. We love the burgers. Both my husband and I ordered the doghouse burger: topped with cheese, fresh fries, applewood smoked bacon, French fry juice, and homemade chilli! It's the BOM.COM! My boys ordered chicken wings and the fried shrimp basket. The wings were huge and cooked perfectly crispy! The shrimp were large with the most delicious light batter!!! DELISH! There's so many regulars that come because you'll hear the waitresses say 'welcome back tom, sweet tea again?'... you don't ever see this anymore anywhere. It's so nice. Love it here for every reason being! Worth the little trip I promise!

A Must-Visit Hidden Gem in Monticello!…read more Calling this place a "hot dog and hamburger stand" is a massive understatement! From the moment my wife and I walked through the door, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our waitress was incredibly efficient and took the time to walk us through the entire menu. We both ordered the all-beef hot dogs, paired with onion rings for me and their fresh, homemade French fries for my wife. The absolute highlight of the meal was their secret dipping sauce--it is absolutely amazing with the fries! The interior is surprisingly roomy yet cozy, and the restrooms were spotless. We are already planning our next trip back to try the Smashburger and the Reuben. If you are driving through Monticello and want a quick, top-tier bite to eat, do not pass this place up!

The burger was great, but the fry bowl was killer. The combo with the sauce really made the whole thing shine. You might have to wait a bit but honestly if you grab a delicious beer and a game inside the brewery it'll fly by. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. Definitely want to check out a chicken bowl next time. The old waterworks building is a vibe and whoever has the aux was crushing it.

It was trivia night at the brewery so it was bound that the wait time was going to be long. We waited about 30-40 minutes for a hotdog, chicken sandwich, and an order of fries. We walked away without the fries. While the young lady that was taking orders was kind and helping fill the orders had on gloves, she was eating directly out of the serving bowl of the fries. We watched her take fries out of the bowl, dip them, then eat, and repeat several times before mentioning it to her. I simply asked for the money back for the fries and we were provided that. The young lady tried to say that she was changing her gloves between each time she was eating the fries and she wasn't touching her mouth. Yeahh, no that's not how that works. She did not have any dealings with the sandwich, the other staff were sanitary so that I had some of. I was still disappointed in that; waiting almost 40 minutes for a very mid sandwich wasn't worth it.

A restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived. We went inside, but let the server know we were gonna sit outside. Several minutes passed and menus were delivered. It took several more minutes for the server to return and take our order. I have to say the food is worth the price of admission! We ordered enough options so that we could take home leftovers for the next day's lunch. We ordered the chorizo tacos, served, and softshell flour tortillas. They must've been baked slightly because they had a little bit of structure to them. There is ample chorizo in each taco. Delicious! We also ordered an arepa, empanadas, tostones, and yuca fries. Everything was delicious, plated individually, and tasted wonderful. My question the reason we don't visit this restaurant more often. We were glad to visit and we plan to return!

I called the restaurant and was immediately placed on hold for over 10 minutes. I again explained the issue. I was then told that it didn't matter, the order was already started and since it's paid, there's nothing they can do. No refund, no remaking or anything, only telling me to order later next time, but they will keep my food hot until 3:15-3:30 when my son can pick it up. I let her know if I hadn't immediately been placed on hold when I called, this could have been rectified pretty easily. No help.
