It's good to know that there's a 5 guys within an hour drive, first heard of this place from being in the military either in California or somewhere possibly on the East Coast? They do an amazing job! The burgers are worth the extra couple bucks, and you can't stop eating fries, the wife got a shake which was awesome, and I love the Coke machine or you can mix it up. As usual, this Five Guys is pretty solid. Everything was cooked well, the staff handled meals with care, and we weren't waiting too long. The place was clean and was mobbed despite the lateness of the lunch hour, which tells me that this is a particularly good location. All in all, very good. read more

We enjoy coming here for fast hamburger with the family. Today while we were dining in Sayorn was exceptional was very polite and nice. Welcomed us when we came in and was keeping the restaurant clean the whole time. While the manager was loudly (yelling) talking about her boyfriend with the other employees that were standing around her. We received our food and our fries were old and were doubled fried and were very hard. My husband went up to ask for new fries and the manager was rude and didn't apologize at all. Then the manager told Sayorn to get the old bag of fries of the counter even tho she was standing right next to the bag . He didn't hear her at first and asked what she wanted him to do and she said don't ask questions just do what I said . Sayorn seen the situation and apologized for the mistake. I would have gave this review (situation) a one star review but because at least one of the employee went above and beyond I wanted to recognize this young man. read more

Awful terrible horrible service. Ordered online. Went to pick it up, and was completely ignored by employees. Finally caught the fry guy's attention. He said they were working on it. I stood at the pick up counter and I watched people who had come into the store after me and ordered get their food. I finally talked to the manager. He asked if I was from Uber Eats. I told him no that I'd ordered on line. He said, well, did you check in? I said yes and said with him, pointing to the fry guy who was slinking into the back room. This was 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be done. I said to the manager that the burgers, which had been sitting in a bag all this time, would be cold. He reached into the bag and said no, they're still hot. No apology, no nothing. He just said that the fry guy "had been pissing him off all day. " By the time I got home (not far) the burgers were luke warm and so soggy from sitting in the foil wrapper for so long that they were nearly inedible. Staff was friendly and welcoming upon arrival. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and large fry with 2 handspun shakes. I got the shakes and they were just like flavored milk, not thick at all. I had one remade. But had the same result. If I wanted a frosty I would have went to Wendy's. The large fry was the same amount of fries as I would have received if I would have ordered a medium fry at the lakewood location. This place was just ok, this was my second time going to a five guys burger. I went back because I thought I was going to get the same experience I got at the five guys in Renton. Sad this place doesn't offer some sort of value meal. I thought this place was very expensive, we payed 29 USD for a bun less hotdog, 2 cheeseburgers with fries. For some reason the burger did not taste like the one in Renton, also our fries were super soggy, not crisp at all. Also the seating was real tight. The parking was a nightmare . We walked in and saw free peanuts! We were promptly greeted by a friendly cashier. It was our first time ordering, and she was very helpful. Ordering was a breeze. They have a few booths, some floor level seating, and the the tall chairs/tables around the windows. The atmosphere is a bit loud, but the workers sound happy to be there. I enjoyed it. However, my son has Autism and is sensitive to loud noises. He was ok for a half hour before asking to leave. They have big windows with views of the parking lot, which is how he lasted as long as he did. The food was great. The best burger I have had in a long time. The fires were crisp. After hearing a rave review , we went to this location last evening. We could smell the burger grease as we crossed the parking lot. . Complimentary peanuts , free soda refills , wide selection of free toppings, generous serving of REGULAR size fries. 2 burgers, one regular fries,2 regular sodas for $25. The buns were thin and soggy and fell apart before we had eaten half of the burger. Asked for no onions or mushrooms on one burger, but it had both. Watery canned mushrooms. The burgers were flavorless , the fries were soggy. Overpriced and over rated, never going back. read more

Had a chesseburger and fries. The bun on the chesseburger was right up there with Wonder Bread and it was served swimming in mayonaise. The meat was your standard fast food patty. The fries showed potential - hand cut with the skins on - but way too much salt. Five Guys is no better than any of the other fast food burger chains. My boyfriend and I are huge Five Guys fans. We came into this location, just to end up leaving almost immediately. Every single empty table was dirty. When we approached the counter, a small Hispanic woman who claimed to be the manager not only neglected us, but was slamming stuff around in an angry manner, and yelling in a really rude manner to other employees. After that we witnessed what made us decide to just leave because we were completely taken back. A woman had came up to the counter very angry about how after they redid her burger twice for being cold and loaded with mustard, asked for a refund. The manager then berated her for a receipt and did nothing to find a solution to calming down this customer who had every right to be upset. The customer then said she didn't have the receipt because someone had taken it and the manger, interrupting the customer and yelling, said "come on down to the register!" It was clearly said in a very condescending and annoyed tone. Horrible horrible service. That customer could have been handled in a way nicer fashion. read more

Burgers here are great and we always love the freestyle coke machine, however fries should be taken out of the name at this location. We keep making the same mistake of going to this one instead of the lakewood location and we encounter the same disappointment each time, soft, bland and under seasoned. This place is just booming it! Their burger style is my favorite with NO EQUAL. Their fries are great and so are their peanuts:)

-Just a quick observation - if the employees didn't run around behind the counter throwing food at each other while clapping to the music with their hands above their head, laughing and talking FULL BLAST, your food costs would be lower and customers would get their orders faster. My husband and I had 2 cheeseburgers, fries and med drink and it was $28. Felt like I could get the same quality elsewhere for 1/2 the price.Also the floor was a mess. The burgers were great and the fries were plentiful, and that's where my positive review stops. From the overwhelming choices presented at the menu - which is pictureless, a big no-no for the visually inclined - to the deafeningly loud music, Five Guys' seemed out to get us. The menu has a staggering amount of choices to be made very, very quickly - no vegetable or condiment is standard, meaning she (being autistic and a child) had to choose every element on her burger. The crowd behind us left her in a weepy mess, which only drew more eyes. The hot dogs aren't standard or grilled the usual way, either, leading to the twins (one is autistic as well) refusing theirs. And it's impossible to make one serving of fries out of a mess in a greasy paper bag. We had to pry child one's hands off her ears to get her to eat, and when that failed, we had to march her outside and feed her. The music followed us out. Upshot: Not, in a million years, to be considered autism-friendly. Tasty, though, but leave your kids with someone else. Which completely destroys the idea of a family outing. read more

So badass I could have sworn these people were actually bald eagles of patriotism in disguise as fry cooks. After ordering my burger and a pound and a half of fries, I sat down with my free peanuts and ate those bitches like I was gearing up to kick Britain's ass in the revolutionary war and then go to a baseball game after. After my delicious peanuts of patriotism I ate my whole burger and my whole bag full of fries and my heart fought off a heart attack as I smiled until my face burst into flames. Delicious, American, patriotic food. You'll grow a beard eating this shit. My mind was blown, and I will surely be returning. Yesterday I attempted to use the 5Guys Burger & Fries App from my phone. I was able to find the store closest to my location (4027 Tacoma Mall Blvd., Ste. A, Tacoma, WA 98409), however each time I entered my card number the app said that my zip code did not match and would not proceed further with my order. After 4 attempts I gave up and went to McDonalds. When I reviewed my checking account this morning, I realized the app had charged me 4 times for food I never received. I did contact the store and they directed me to e-mail help@olo.com. I am frustrated because as part of the order process you give your name and phone number. Why was I never contacted by the store who would have gotten 4 duplicate orders and had my contact information? Or why when they did close-out for the night did they not notice it then? Had I not reviewed my account charges, I would have never known. This is not good customer service and not acceptable. The people at the location did not take ownership of the issue and blew me off. Additionally, now I potentially lost money on account of an error with your online app. I did go to my bank and verified that my account had not been compromised and that I in fact did have the correct zip code 98409. Also, when I spoke to the woman from the location, she stated that I would have been sent a confirmation e-mail which I never received. I thoroughly searched through my e-mail and spam folders and did not find anything from the app or 5guys website. How is it possible for such a thing to occur? read more

Simple atmosphere, nothing flashy, your here for a burger remember that. As you wait (which is not that long usually) grab some complimentary peanuts for you and your cohorts. Tonight I came here with my son after catching a Lincoln high school basketball game. Other then me walking in on one of the employees being reprimanded the atmosphere was still great and it seems the employee bounced back solidly. Within 30 seconds of you placing your order you begin to hear the sizzle of your patties as they are thrown on to the grill for your viewing pleasure. It is also really appealing that you are always seeing someone from the staff cleaning something, anything it doesn't matter whether there is 1 customer or 20 NO ONE just sitting back on their phone checking their Facebook. Again solid place and very solid on their price what you pay for is what you get, so even though it might seem a little high in price always remember you can go right down the street to McDonald's and order from their $menu but I assure you it won't be anywhere as fulfilling as Five Guy's! read more
