He was cleaning one of the tables, noticed that my order hadn't been taken yet, stepped in himself, and made sure everything was handled properly. We even had a nice, polite conversation, which made the experience feel genuinely welcoming. The place is clean and well-maintained. My only complaint is that they didn't have hot chocolate available on a cold, snowy morning. That would have been perfect. Other than that, thank you for the excellent service.

I don't live in North Adam's but I work in fast food and definitely got the fast food experience…read moretonight. I'll give some grace it was an hour before closing. I got a 50 dollar order and the person taking the order didn't know how to do his job and gave us 4 drinks, he didn't know how to replace the drinks on the meal with a slushy(wanting a frozen hi-c getting a nasty orange dream drink in replace) and lemonade so charged us separately for those as well as one of the meals we wanted a halfz with onion rings and fry's he charged us separately for it... as well as asked for junior chicken and got an original chicken that significantly way more in price. The closing manager, that's Middle Eastern. Refuse to give us a refund. but was giving us free food like a shake to make up the difference in which I find very insufferable just because she didn't wanna fill out "excuse for refund" paperwork...and during the encounter in the drive through I was ripping my disposable nicotine vape as one neglectful Gen Z does. we go around the parking lot to eat our meal because we live an hour away and I have to enter the store twice, once because no sauce that we paid for and the second time no jalapeño poppers. and they call the cops on us for "smoking crack in the parking lot" like come on if your going to make a false police report at least make sure it's not an original crime even the cops laughed it up with us and left before that making sure we knew that it was a direct hit at our white suv with a complaint coming from inside when the real crime is you guys handing out soggy burgers and calling it the king and it's so sad that I'm an adult now because it was disheartening, leaving your property without vandalizing it by wiping the remnants of my sad soggy burger on your guys's windows. and the funny thing is I know that woman hates her job because I have the same job and work with people who hate it just as much. Her customer satisfactory service needs to be internally reviewed. and I know this night manager knows who I am, she offered me a job three months prior. I just don't know how you go from that to saying that we're smoking crack in your parking lot and giving out worse service than what originated the conversation of you needing help in the store three month prior. If you don't wanna train your crew don't work in a position to have train your crew. and I will definitely be calling the non emergency line to see where her complaint has landed or what they are planning on doing with such a peculiar use of the system when I know for a fact North Adam's is a problematic town and needs its resources.

We are ordered the double dip, Buffalo chicken and spinach artichoke. It took over twenty minutes for the dips, even tho the place was half empty. We had a feeling the entrees would arrive shortly and we were right. Halfway thru the dips the entrees arrived. Chicken piccata was bland, and the pasta was overcooked. The sauce was watery and there was only a slight taste of lemon. Not at all what it should have been. Haddock was obviously fresh, but again, bland. Served in a bath of butter, but no herbs, no discernible seasoning. Services was attentive, beers were cold, if somewhat overpriced. Don't know that I'll be back.

This is the old world tavern feel. I love the entrance with the brick walls and saloon doors to the dining. The bar I'd loaded with patrons and you can see all the beer steins hanging above head. Tonight I started with their delicious maple old fashioned! Then I ordered their onion soup....delicious. We also ordered the nachos which were per her as well. I asked Ashley our waitress what the signature dish was, she said the wings so we ordered a dozen. They were outstanding and delicious, crispy! For dinner I got their delicious burger with bacon and cheddar and fries, great stuff. My friends had the pork shoulder which they said was delicious and looked tender. My wife had the butter buttered chicken sandwich which She enjoyed. Again, this is a must hit spot. Go early and catch the sunset on the porch! Ashley was an awesome waitress and very friendly. 10/13/25 We had an awesome dinner at Olde Forge. Jessica our waitress took great care of us and her service was spot on. It's been a few days since we were there so I don't remember all the dishes, my apologies. I do regret the Mac n cheese was delicious and creamy! The quesadilla was great as well. My glazed steak was spicy and delicious, very tender. We will be back before heading back to NY. Highly recommended!

It would have taken 5 seconds for me to order one sub, as it comes, no special requests. Bye bye, not going back. We decided to try this place one day for dinner since it changed hands into a 'Jamaican'…read morerestaurant a couple years ago. Formerly The Lantern, still a bar vibe/a bit dark inside. We both got the jerk chicken with greens. While we finished our dinner and it tasted good; I have several specific impressions and suggestions for improvement. First of all, both of our dinners could have arrived much hotter. They were more like "well warmed" in a microwave than truly hot- so I assume that's how they typically do it there. We were hungry enough not to send it back to be 'heated up' more -but they should be aware of how hot their food should be when presented to customers. Second, we love Jamaican food- goat curry/jerk chicken/oxtails, greens, etc. This chicken was seasoned + tasty; but the chicken honestly tasted like BBQ chicken much more than the jerk chicken I've had in any other restaurants. Finally- and in the end this was the worst issue, the gal who was our waitress either had never done a waitress job before, or was so poorly trained at this establishment that she literally had no idea what she should be doing/noticing/taking care of. At various points, this was frustrating (she didn't check on us at all), didn't seem to know if we needed more water/napkin,etc. mainly because she just didn't walk by the table/or stand back keeping a watchful eye on her table. At certain points, I heard her boss talking to her and telling her what to do next- but clearly she didn't even have a basic concept of what she was supposed to be doing. I waited tables a lot thru college and eventually I felt sorry for her lack of training in a job where you clearly represent the business. But, we were the only people in there for dinner, only 1 person drinking in the bar besides us. It was just unacceptable. We won't return-but would love to find good Jamaican food somewhere in the region. PS It was several months ago when we ate there, hopefully staff is consistently better trained now.
