Smells amazing when you walk in. I have a special diet, and five guys really accommodates me kindly. The food is super fresh. Super quick. Good parking. And the bathrooms are clean. Sometimes though, I must admit the dining room seating area looks a bit rough. But I don't mind wiping the seats & table down for my Lunch. And if you're starving while you wait, they have peanuts you can nosh on. read more

Went there and asked for a cheeseburger and the line was quick then I went over to the waiting area and there were free peanuts! So I grabbed some *very good menu selection and drinks too! Like they have lemonade milkshakes and more the ambiance was great and it does not take very long to get your order this place is underrated very good! read more

Do not order through DoorDash or uber eats. My order got cancelled and the bogo promo did not apply properly the second time I had to order. Between the first pending charge and the other charge, I just paid $70 for one cold soggy cheeseburger. What happened to my first order? Why could they not honor the promo when I literally ordered the same thing not even five minutes prior, and it didn't properly attach. I have so many questions. My Uber eats driver was incredibly quick at picking the order up but everything arrives cold. It's absolutely disgusting and I'm upset that I even bothered ordering from here. read more

The burgers were perfect, wonderfully done just enough toppings. The chocolate milkshakes were perfect and creamy! The hotdogs were perfectly grilled and just perfect amount of piping s added as ordered. The French fries were not as hot or crisp as usual, good salt ratio, they were a little bit soggy or overly oily. Overall good lunch though on the go because of CoVid restrictions. read more

The food was great but it was the restaurant itself that was bad. Every table was dirty. The floor was covered with food and napkins. I've eaten here for years. Each time was great before COVID-19. The service and food has seemed to decline since then. The employees are no longer friendly and I always have to wait much longer than I used to for my food, despite there being the same amount of employees and customers as there has always been. The cleaning in the dining area has also seemed to decline since COVID-19 which makes me not want to eat at this location anymore, so I now order it to go. I also find it annoying that they do not include ketchup in the to go orders and when you dine in, you have to ask for a cup now for the ketchup, and it's hard to get the attention of the declining attitude employees. read more

Really yummy thin cheeseburgers. Nice toasty sesame buns. I love that they offer all of the the toppings free of charge. I got mine with mushrooms, sauteed onions, lettuce, tomato, jalepeno. The mushrooms were sliced nicely and the onions were chopped and sauteed perfectly. I loved that the jalapeno was freshly sliced, not the jar kind. The tomato was fine. I only wish the lettuce was shredded versus a leaf because it was kind of overpowering. Service was great at this location. If you're in a group they write on the burgers the number in which you ordered the burger. Loved the fries too and complimentary peanuts. The regular fries were shared by three people. Ok so I went here about a year ago and it was truly awful. I watched famous you tubers eat five guys and they all said it was amazing so I decided to go with my family and try it. When we got there it wasn't busy but dirty. The peanuts were covered in dust (not peanut dust.) We ordered the small cheeseburgers and small fries (3 orders) When we got the burgers they were wrapped in tinfoil and the fries were in a cup. I felt like I was eating out of a picnic basket. Cmon five guys- get yourself some wrap for ur burgers and fries. When we got the fries we got one of each size of fries and they were burnt and tasted awful. I had never heard of them until they came here almost a year ago. It's absolutely amazing. The ordering is simple and easy, the food is made right in front of you, fresh every time. When it comes out its hot, juicy, and wonderful. Cost wise it's a little more than a normal fast food place, but the quality is completely worth it. Also for portions, expect to leave full. Their burgers and hot dogs are a little above normal but when you order their fries expect to be surprised. A two full adults easily. read more

I had just gotten to Pittsfield (actually, Dalton) after hiking on the AT for 9 weeks. I had the hiker hunger really bad, so I came here and made a pig of myself. I will never be able to eat like this again, unless I go on another long AT hike. I got the burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc. - but not the mushrooms or bacon, just a straight cheese burger with enough vegetable matter so I could feel like I had a balanced meal, haha. I got a small fry: they were outstanding, and they filled the whole brown paper sack with them. I also got a cherry shake, best one I've ever had. And I ate some peanuts while I waited for my burger. I ate every morsel of what they gave me. Probably ate 8,000 calories that night. And every one was delicious! The young men who were cashiers were very nice and seemed to be happy to work there: lots of smiles. Good music. Very clean. Afterwards, I waddled back to my motel, a very happy not-camping-tonight camper. read more

Pretty much the perfect burger. Our own version of an In and Out burger, so lucky to have this place in town. The handcut fries are simply the best fries in the region, no contest. This is fast food no better or worse than Burger King or Wendys. If you're into that, then fine, but the whole complicated ordering process, the grilling the food with no walls between customer and cook, the sign stating where the potatoes came from..that is all just gimmick. The end result is a greasy, cheap burger. Tastes good for what it is and because people fall for the gimmick the place usually has enough people to give it an atmosphere comfortable enough to sit and eat in without feeling lonely and stared-at by bored fry cooks who are waiting for you to leave so they can do whatever. In that respect it is better than most fast food joints. read more
