This place is a joke! My daughter and her friend went here today. The person working the register received $25 from my daughter and punched in $20. And told my daughter she only gave them a$20. I sent my daughter in with $25. My daughter did not know enough to request a manager and left the restaurant upset. SHAME on this worker for scamming children!! I will NEVER give business to this scummy place again. Shame on you!! Manager, please have a talk with your employees about honesty and scamming children. Very disappointed. My total came up to $35.06. I gave the cashier $40. She TRIES to send me away with $4.04. I had to say excuse me, you owe me $4.94. She tells me she doesn't have the proper change to give me as if I'm just suppose to be ok taking the loss. Sure it's ONLY 94 cents HOWEVER, you NEVER put the loss on the customer. First thing you see when you walk in -- Every single table is dirty, floors were disgusting, the smell was horrible, even the employees had really dirty uniforms on. I watched people wearing gloves used to touch our food touch everything else (even after touching raw meat). On top of all that, service was very very slow for having about 6-8 people working and it not being busy. It looked like the manager was taking orders while everyone else did close to nothing. I came here yesterday to get lunch for Larry S. on our way to work and I was impressed! First, they have a napkin dispenser located outside so you don't have to touch their door handle. Upon entering, there is tape on the floor to indicate appropriate social distance, although it wasn't necessary as there were few other customers. The woman behind the counter was friendly despite the mask! I ordered Larry a cheeseburger with LTO, ketchup and mayo on the side. In other reviews, I'm unambiguous that there are very few good burger spots in Miami. (Local favs are Michael's Genuine and Blues Burgers, infrequently Kush). Five Guys does a good delivery that is notches above the mediocrity of regional fast food (e.g., McDonalds). The burger arrives hot. Meat is lightly seasoned and reasonably good quality on a soft sesame bun that isn't doughy. Cheese is Kraft quality, not oil and plastic. Fresh lettuce and tomato. Touch of ketchup and mustard. Assembly stays together without being greasy or messy. Thicker cut fries are also hot and crispy. No matter what size you order, there's more than enough. Critically, the fries tend to be salted with a heavy hand. Packaging keeps out the snicking fingers of the delivery. Priced right. Very good delivery. read more

The best Five Guys in Miami. Speed, service, taste, and consistency. I go to this chain a lot in other locations like south beach and downtown. This is by far the better one, best atmosphere for the best Five Guys experience. I recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. It's a $15 meal and well worth every cent. Caution! A nap will come after eating all of this. Parking in Midtown isn't free but if you come during 12pm-3pm weekdays you can get free validated parking for lunch. Today as I was picking up my online order walking in right by the pick up counter and two rats literally run out of the kitchen and near us running under the soda machines, such a gross feeling. Originally this place would've gotten four stars from me but recently they have not been performing as well as they usually do. They literally have the best burgers and it's located in a nice area so it's lots to do but now with the Covid most of my orders are through Uber eats or other delivering partners. They have that perfectly seared melt in your mouth every bite patties. But this time I came for a hot dog and just like always the everything was hot and fresh. The hotdog had a good char on the outside and the fries from real potatoes were made to order. I saw them making a milk shake and I figured I should go big!! I got the Oreo cream and the Oreo milkshake so it has all the cream from a double stuffed plus Oreo cookie pieces. I don't usually eat burgers and shakes together so I would recommend save your shake for dessert after you're done. Everyone here is very friendly and seem to work well with one another. About the only thing positive I can think of to write about this Five Guys is that the burgers are better than McWendyKing. First, I had to pay to park. Then I noted that, although cooked to order, the burgers are only available over-done. They are dripping with the grease from the flattop grill, but I would prefer juicy to greasy. Even if you are going to eat in the restaurant, your burger gets wrapped, put in a bag, and covered with fries. No trays, no baskets. So, when you sit down, you have to put your hand in the bag and dig under the fries for your burger, unwrap it, and eat it off of the spread out wrapper. Unless you like to eat off of the table. Then, what to do with the fries? Well, you have to eat them out of the bag. By now, the fries have been steamed in the bag, and are not at all crispy - indeed, rather limp. Yes they are made from fresh potatoes, yes there are bits of skin on them, but they are not ideally cooked. I got to see the digital temperature setting on the fryers. It was 345-degrees. No wonder they are limp and greasy! Although overdone, the cheeseburger was tasty. If your standard of burgerdom is the giant, corporate fast-food chains, then this chain is heaven-sent. There are better choices, unless you live or work next door and it's a matter of convenience. P.S. I tried the one in West Dade, and the fries were the same. read more

I was in sort of a rush when I came in and saw there was a short line so I figured I'd press my luck and go. The line moved quickly and I ordered. I sat down and began to wait. As I waited I noticed a few people retuning their food and returning to their seats with unhappy faces. Not a good sign. About 10 minutes later I got my food. I didn't get my burger how I ordered. I will say, I did not complain because at this point it wasn't a big enough deal to warrant getting a brand new burger. I have to say though, the food, for me has really gone downhill. I spent $13 on a burger, fries and a drink and wasn't truly that satisfied. I remember the days when you always had something to take home with you. It was a rarity to eat ALL those fries after eating a burger with 2 patties. If you're going to charge that much, then give me something for it.
