Positively the best Five Guys we've ever been! First, the staff greeted us immediately as we entered. They were very friendly and were singing along to the music--which by the way was phenomenal! The employees seemed happy and were all smiling--that just makes customers feel good to be there. One gentleman came and wiped tables and took the trash away while we were eating and he spoke and asked us how we were doing, if we needed anything. Great atmosphere to be in! The food was superb! My cheeseburger was perfect and the fries were just right--not too crispy and not too soft. And just enough salt. We will definitely return!! read more

It took me forever to finally eat at this "Five Guys" spot I kept hearing about. It was SO worth the wait. I have craved their burgers since. Classic burgers with that homemade taste. The toppings were simple but oh so good. Bacon makes EVERYTHING better. I really enjoyed the burger - more than I should. Thank goodness they aren't in Warner Robins because I'd be in trouble. Their burgers are always hot and juicy. The fact that the customer can add their favorite toppings just makes the burger that more delicious. Can't go wrong with grilled onions, mushrooms, ketchup, mayo, and of course cheese! They split their hot dogs and grill them on the flat top - awesome. These too can be topped with as little or as much as you like. One word of caution... Share the Fries!! This place was really good! I order a hamburger with the regular amenities plus A1 sauce. It was delicious. I really enjoyed the place. The price was decent and the regular fries were way too much for me. You will definitely get your monies worth. Pleace excuse me while I wipe my mouth. lol....ok, I just got the drool off of my face. I love Five Guys! You should always take a friend or two to 5 Guys so y'all can share the order of fries. Sharing the fries offsets the price a bit and there are PLENTY of fries to go around! The place itself could use more space and a bit more ambiance but, the atmosphere in no way interferes with the great taste of their menu items! Where else can you add grilled onions and jalapenos to your burger for no extra charge? I always get the small bacon cheeseburger and share my cajun-flavored fries with one or two friends. The 'small' burger is huge, juicy, and delicious! I also recommend trying the bacon cheddar dog....just because you can. read more

They serve up a good hamburger. It is better than the regular fast food burger. They do offer a lot of extras like onions and mushrooms and cook the hamburger as you wait. I usually go after a knight of drinking to get the grease in my stomach and soak up the alcohol. They do give a lot of fries and have malt vinegar to put on everything. Overrated. OK, in general I'm not a fan of burgers anyway, and this place did absolutely nothing in the way of winning me over. I've heard people rave about Five Guys for a while now so I finally decided to try this location. Well, the burgers were just blah - absolutely nothing special at all - and they filled my bag with fries that were just meh. So yeah, blah and meh. I think perhaps the reason so many people rave about this place is because they shovel the cheap fries into the bag to make people think they're getting a deal. These burgers are awesome! They taste probably as close to the ones you can make at home on your grill. You'll spend a little more than you would at a fast food burger place, but it's worth it. Grab a bucket of peanuts and enjoy a great burger with tons of yummy toppings. Also, if you're a vegetarian, go for a grilled veggie sandwich - you'll never miss the beef. read more

I have heard many people raving about Five Guys. And, indeed, the walls of the restaurant itself are dedicated with it's on praise (which is only slightly annoying). There is definitely something to like about this place. It disguises it's cheap design within it's cheap design. That is to say it dresses itself down to dress itself up. Ok. Enough with the double speak. Plainly, Five Guys provides exactly what it offers. The burgers are decent. Only slightly higher priced than most popular fast food chains and loads better (actually real ground meat). One lacking quality that could be easily remedied by this location is that it is not inviting. I don't feel much like ordering a meal and spending some time here. The design feels like you should order, eat, and go. The dressed down nature of this restaurant could really gain from creating a space where patrons could go after a pick-up game or a night drinking and just "hang out". More comfortable chairs, a tv, or waitresses to ask if you'd like another drink would be great and no expense. On another level, this restaurant should not replace speciality burger joints (i.e. The Rookery, The Vortex, etc). Do not mistake this place as such, it is a burger joint with speciality toppings not a speciality burger joint. The ingredients do not taste as fresh or meld together as well. Having said that Five Guys does not stand out, but it might stand alone as a conduit between mundane fast food and what we all desire in a burger joint. read more

This place does burgers and fries and they do them right. Keeping it simple really works for them. Like everyone says, you get plenty of fries. I was looking for a Red Robin but there isn't one. That's ok tho, I will happily return to Five Guys. read more

I got their double bacon burger, a small fries and regular size drink for $13.50 All of it was just OK and not nearly worth the outrageous price. I could've had a nice steak at Cheddars for this price. I'll be skipping this one from now on. read more

The food is always hot and good. The one in Atlanta is better because you get to add your own toppings from the bar. The one in Macon has the employees add your toppings for you. It's a little expensive, but it's always very, very good. read more

My wife and I have been going to this place since it opened...and still enjoy it. We each order a burger and split the fries. The burgers are better than any other in town especially fast food places and the fries are the best by far. Five guys is clean and well run and the staff is awesome...friendly and helpful. The inspection rating is right in front as you walk up to the register and is always tops. Sometimes we eat in and sometimes we take it home...either way you can't go wrong...if you are in the mood for a burger this is the place to go. read more
