The restaurant was clean & a tad busy . We had just walked in w/ a bus load of college basketball team in front of us, the cashier handled it beautifully & we didn't even wait too long. We ordered two burgers & one w/o a bun , medium fry & 2 shakes , I think of the shakes was inadvertently taken by one of the basketball players but the guy behind the counter made it promptly & was replaced though my husband told him no whip cream & still added . We had just spent 18 hours on the road traveling from CA to CO & we were just hungry! Everyone was genuinely nice & handled the bus load of BB players flawlessly. Kudos ! read more

#1, the restaurant, including the restrooms were very clean on our visit. Good sign, nobody had been throwing their peanut shells on the floor. We were greeted immediately and we placed our order, got our drinks, ketchup and napkins. Knew it was going to be a little messy, the good kind of messy of course. Our burgers were super fresh as were the fries. And boy did I get fries. That is just one thing I love about Five Guys, they are always super generous with the fries. Corporate really needs to look into why this location LOVES to take the phone off the hook so no one can call in for take outs. This will be the 2nd time, I had tried to call in and was placed on hold. This time - I wasn't placed on a proper hold - I could hear the employees talking in the back ground. Running errands when he got hungry. I was craving fries and he felt like a burger so he picked this place. It was interesting that you can pick the toppings you want and they tell you how many calories that adds to your burger. I chose the little bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños, lettuce and tomatoes. He went with a cheeseburger and lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard and onions. Regular soda, cup for water and regular fries rounded up our order. They gave us our cups and a number to pick up our order with. We got our drinks and found a place to sit. I was impressed with how clean the kitchen area was. The dining area was pretty clean. Much better than some 'fast food' places we've been. Got our order and the burgers looked about the same size. I guess the difference was his had a second burger patty. Mine was plenty for me. It allowed me to eat some fries without feeling stuffed. I liked that bacon cheeseburger. First off it was nice not to have to pick something off like pickles or onions because I always forget to say I don't want those. Then bacon - add bacon to anything and it's amazing already. They also cooked the burger patty to perfection for my tastes. Juicy and not chewy. And seasoned so delish. He liked his burger. His only complaint was they are pricey. Ordered a cheeseburger with various toppings, medium cajun fries, and medium oreo milkshake. Bag was messy. Nearly filled to the brim with fries, even though I ordered medium. I had to claw the burger out. Burger tasted fine, but was a huge mess. Apparently their regular burger is a double-patty, and their small burger is a regular burger. That wasn't clear on their website, if stated at all. Fries were soft. Milkshake was pretty good. Just wish the straws were a bit wider. And meal was entirely too expensive. $20. I've been doing Uber Eats for a while now and I have yet to walk into a 5 guys where the order is ready. I walked in today to pick up an order that I had accepted 7 mins before even getting to the restaurant. I get there and there's literally two people sitting in the dining room eating. Very large pet peeve of mine. If you have the open sign lit..the door better be unlocked!! I have a rather early lunch hour so finding places open at 10:30 is ideal. I came to this location on the 1 day I didn't bring lunch. Pulled in 10:45 Open sign blazing..Score!!! Walk to the door...locked. Ugh!! I had my heart set on a burger now. So we wait.. and wait... and when you have an hour lunch and already burned 1/4 hour of it waiting for a place to open... you best commit. Store reminded me of a Jerry Springer episode. Worst experience I have ever had in restaurant. It was busy and I fine with waiting my turn, but orders were not getting processed correctly. Workers were yelling at each other telling each other to shut up. Online orders were not being filled in order that they were received. Watched 8-10 people come into store, order, and receive food while I was waiting for my online order for 40+ minutes. One staff member was yelling at guests using unprofessional language. Staff openly were talking about guests in disparaging ways. I finally had to ask for a refund and leave. Was not even refunded for my tip I added online. Will never ever come back to this location. Every now and again I get a hankering for a good burger and fries and make the mistake of getting a fast food one. A small cheese burger and small fries was $15.00 and you would think for a $10 cheese burger it would be decent even though it was fast food. I can't rate the burger because it was over shadowed by what was advertised as cheese but was so processed I wouldn't even call it food. It tasted and had the texture of a paste. It's National Hamburger Day and Five Guys is ranked the best burger in America! (According to our local news channel) The burgers are always fresh and the fries also fresh; so fresh you even know where the potatoes came from. There is plenty of parking right outside the store. There are complimentary boxes of roasted peanuts in the shell strategically placed around the dining room. They also have milkshakes which looked pretty tasty with whip cream on top but I did not indulge. The prices are fair and they always give you extra fries so I recommend just ordering a small order and less you have a huge appetite. read more

It took a couple tries for me to warm up to Five Guys. I think the key is all in ordering right. The first time out of the gate I did the double with everything and a large fries. If you have have been here you know this is enough food to feed 3 let alone just one! So I finally got it right (for me), I order a little bacon cheeseburger (lettuce/tomato/pickle/mustard) and share a large fry. This still over stuffs me, but I am go home full an happy! This one off Lincoln is really clean, the staff is friendly and it is pretty quick. I do think for counter service their prices are bit steep, but that is my only knock. It is good stuff. read more

We loved 5 guys. In my opinion they have some of the best fries in the city. Usually, a large fry oder (like $8.50) is a small bag full of fries. We ordered $120.00 worth of food and 2 large fries for 6 people to share. The fries that were delivered were smaller than a medium fry. $17.06 on barely a medium fry order. Disappointing to say the least, especially as we had out of town guests and now don't have enough food. This was by far my worst experience at a Five Guys restaurant. Only one of the burgers that we ordered was right. One was completely missing, so they had to remake it. My mom's burger was missing the onions, but had TWO long dark hairs in it. It was very disappointing. It was my mom's first time eating at a five guys. For our first experience here it was fast, friendly and simple. The menu is little with just hamburgers and hotdogs but there is a wide variety of toppings. The "little" burgers are just single patty quarter pound but it is still a normal size hamburger. The "big" burgers are doubles. It's easy for me to get full but the taste of the food was so enjoyable, i couldn't stop eating. The fries are so soft, the skins are cooked with them almost resembling steak fries but skinny. Five guys is a chain that seems to be spreading across the country like wildfire. This was my first time trying it; And since i don't typically rate chains, this will have to be my stand-in review for the remainder of the locations. First and foremost, it reminds me of In-N-Out Burger. If I didn't know better, I would have said they copied the In-N-Out model and ran with it: - Very basic menu (burgers - doubles and singles, fries, drinks) - Everything is made to order - Relatively low prices - Simple white and red decor But apparently this chain has its origins from a single burger spot in D.C. So who's to say? My burger was good; Tasted like In N Out; They gave me a ridiculous amount of fries, even though I ordered a small; Kind of a waste, since I threw away most of them. My lunch cohorts had the same comment. But again, comparing them to In N Out there's one major difference I noticed: Meat quality As in: Five Guys doesn't appear to do SQUAT. Reminder: In-N-Out focuses on the highest-grade, cleanest beef out there. They even do their own butchering and processing. Five guys, however, seems to just use whatever USDA beef they happen to get. And the term "USDA beef" doesn't mean much in this day and age. I'll stick to In N Out (at least for chain burgers). read more

Finally tried Five Guys after hearing so much about this concept. Really fresh food! Loved the burger patties; very high quality and delicious! Toppings were also very high quality. And who doesn't like hand cut fries! On the negative side, they are kind of pricey for fast food when you add fries and a drink. We could have gone to Red Robin and paid a few dollars extra for a tip. All in all, a great product and friendly service...I will be back! read more

I love the whole atmosphere at 5 Guys with the big vat of peanuts and the bag full of awesome, crispy fries. Service was good at this location, with the cashier asking us how our weekend was going and if we had any plans. I honestly don't like these kind of burger places generally, as I'm very particular about how my burgers are made. Counter places like this just make the burger as well done/rare as they want sand I like mine burnt. However theirs are usually done well enough and are flavorful enough that it doesn't seem to matter as much. read more
