All in all, its an OK vendor to find if you are indeed crazy for nuts which they offer other varieties. That morning, May 18th 2014, we purchased the HARVEST MIX which contains Cinnamon Crunch Almonds and Pecans, together with Ginger Spice Almonds and Pecans, blended with Salted Roasted Cashews. The packaging looks "old". If I could recall properly for the Net Wt 3.5 oz of Nuts, it was about $4.50 (Small Packaging). Its a little steep for those nuts which when we got to taste at home some were a little stale for our taste buds. *SIGH* @108/2014

I had two shredded beef tacos with onion and cilantro. I also had chips and queso. I had three different sauces and they were amazingly favorable. NICE JOB! Oh wow....they even made dessert. The appearance alone made me curious about this dessert called a churro. The churro was mouth watering and the aroma kept drawing me in. Yep, I did have two! PERFECT This family run food truck was incredible. They were so friendly and eager to help you with your order. Thank you so much Carlos' Kitchen for making this experience so memorable. After having tacos and burritos all weekend I was going to pass but so glad I didn't. The carne asada is fabulous! I had the burrito, ordered extra green chile *and* a side of queso. I was blown away. The tortillas and pico are fresh, the portions perfect and the taste......DELISH! Lunch and dinner items are served with tortilla chips. I am a colorado native though) BUT it was by far some of the best tacos I have ever had! Truthfully it could have been because I was drunk too, but they were soo good. I believe I got 3 different types of meat and it seemed to me that the meat is stewed. I also got an order of the mile high fries, they were SO DANK. I couldnt stop eating them and decided to steal some from my friends. Funny story, I shared a bite with all of my friends and they all went and got their own tacos and fries. Hire me now as your marketing manager, I am taking applications :). Whenever I am back in town I will definitely be trying to find Mestizos.

The wing overall was excellent, however, it didn't have the light texture of the Korean fried chicken that I've had at Korean chicken joints. I did suggest more corn starch and the staff thought of this prior to me mentioning it. The cheese Brussel sprouts were amazing. The service was great. Many of the staff are local Denver folks which was great to see. New Terrain Brewery is a great spot, excellent beer with beautiful views of the near mountains. Eat at J Street if you see them out.

I didn't get the food myself, so I can't talk much about the service or the ambiance, but I would definitely visit this food truck again if it was nearby!

I like to come here during the Civic Center Eats on Thursday, and frankly it's probably a good thing I don't live so close because I'd be going to the Bumblebee every day and I'd weigh about 100 pounds more than I do. Their little truck is adorable, the woman who works (maybe the owner, not sure) in it when it's at Civic Center Eats is totally friendly, and the desserts are perfect, if you like some serious f*cking sweets. Both were very good and very rich, so rich that although the serving sizes were small, we didn't finish the treats the night we bought them. Fortunately, the treats were just as tasty two days later. The night that we stopped by, The Bumblebee was donating a portion of its profits to the Impact Fund, which made for an added treat. The desserts are a little pricey for their size, but given their high quality, they're worth it.
