Uptown Cheesesteak definitely knows what it's doing when it comes to bold, satisfying comfort food…read more From the moment I walked in, the aroma of sizzling steak and grilled onions set the tone for what turned out to be a solid dining experience. The cheesesteak itself was the highlight--thinly sliced beef cooked just right, juicy without being greasy, and packed into a fresh, soft roll that held everything together without falling apart. The cheese was perfectly melted. I added grilled onions and peppers, and they brought a nice balance of sweetness and texture. The menu had a good variety beyond the classic cheesesteak, including poutine, loaded fries and other sandwich and burger options, but it's clear the star here is the signature sandwich. Portion sizes were generous, and the prices felt fair for the quality and quantity. Service was quick and straightforward--nothing overly fancy, but efficient and friendly enough to make the experience smooth. The atmosphere was casual and laid-back, making it a great place to grab a quick bite or hang out with friends without any fuss. While you are there, be sure to check out all the unique artwork and murals on the walls. If you're craving a hearty, no-nonsense cheesesteak that delivers on flavor, this place is definitely worth checking out. It's not trying to reinvent the cheesesteak wheel--it's just doing it really well.

We were greeted at the door and immediately sat at a table. Our server was great! Cool and funky environment! I had the grilled veggie sandwich. Yum yum yum!! He loved it! Definitely coming back!

The outdoor area can be loud due to its close proximity to the busy street. Not really much of a view; just the parking area and passing cars. Plenty of parking in front and to the side. They do have an inside dining area, but the host didn't give us that option. Our waitress was nice but wasn't very knowledgeable about the food; I asked her if the shrimp poboy came on hard or soft bread. She said soft so I ordered that. It was toasted to the point of being rock hard; actually cut my lip on it. Otherwise the poboy was pretty good, just hard to eat. The wife enjoyed her burger, but it wasn't anything special. And neither of us cared much for their side of chips; it's clearly their attempt to be different by not serving the usual French fries. But in our opinions, it's a fail. They were neither a tasty potato chip nor a fry, but something in between, that even ketchup couldn't make tasty. Interesting place to visit once, but I doubt we'll be back.

The outside area has TV's, lots do covered areas for shade, and even heaters for the cold months. Just a great vibe. The service was fantastic! Our server was amazing. Can't remember his name, but he has the Joker tattoo on his arm with lots of HA HA on it too! He was a gem and super friendly. He constantly checked on us and was such a nice guy. We ordered the grilled peach margarita (get this) and the top shelf marg which was also good (so good that we ordered 2 more). They also have a peanut butter jelly beer that we tried that was delicious. Well done drinks! We only ordered an app to snack on. Let me be clear about this... ORDER THIS!!! It was the Firecracker Pork Belly. Listen to me... this is dream worthy. This is magic. This is insanely good. Absolutely not enough words to describe how amazing this is and how much you have to get it. The pork belly itself is crunchy on the outside while also melting in your mouth. Then, the General Tso sauce served with it is perfection. There are scallions and a creamy sauce in the plate as well. You will question if it's okay to lick the plate. This place is great! Get there.

After several minutes of being completely ignored, I left. Should've gone to Aunt Bee's in the first place. Aunt Bee's is better all around anyways. Friendly service, smiles, and people who actually acknowledge that customers exist. Funny how far basic hospitality goes in the restaurant business. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but a simple "We'll be right with you" isn't exactly a five-star request. Then again, it's Greeneville. My expectations weren't set very high to begin with, and somehow they still managed to miss the bar. Skip this place.
