    Bacon Cheeseburger

$12 for this piece of bullshit and it was supposed to come with cheese as well, thanks five guys

Grilled cheese cheeseburger, Little Cajun Fries, and an Oreo Milkshake.

I ordered a grilled cheese cheeseburger, Cajun fries, and an Oreo milkshake. The milkshake was great (had lots of Oreo in it), the fries were ok because they were kind of cold. However, I was expecting much more from the burger. Although the ingredients( vegetables) are very fresh, the patty itself has no flavor at all. This in turn makes the but very bland. Would go back for the milkshake alone.

Talk about the greatest rip off in Ithaca. i went there with my granddaughter today and it was slow. My granddaughter ordered a double cheeseburger and milk shake it cost 17.00.What! It took over 20 minutes to get her order. I did not eat because a cheeseburger, small fries and bottle of water along with my granddaughters cost $35.00. What???? Plus the place is dirty. I am so upset. Why play these prices when there are much better places to eat here in Ithaca that don't rob you. A picture of a crappy meal that cost a small fortune. Don't waste your time or money.

Horrible food and customer service. Disappointed! the camillus one is way better in Syracuse.

Five Guys - right in the same plaza as Northside Wine & Spirits [how convenient]!

I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else for a quick burger ... I'll even dare to say that it's better than Shake Shack in NYC [to the potential horror of all the students in Ithaca that are from the city]! Mainly because less than $10 will get you plenty of food for one person w/tons of delicious fries left over. =) I was so excited to try Five Guys for the very first time - right here in Ithaca, on their opening day! I heard some mixed reviews from friends about this place in different cities, but I was quite impressed with the quality of their burgers & fresh-cut fries! For the cost ($8-10 for a HUGE one-person meal), I think it's a really good deal: you get to choose whatever toppings/condiments you want (and as many as you want) on your burger, from jalapeños to grilled mushrooms. Plus a regular sized fry could very well feed 2-3 people ... especially when you have a giant burger to finish! The Cajun fries had a kick, but were even good as leftovers for the next week! A regular burger comes with 2 patties, but I thought the mini (one patty) with all the fixings + sharing fries with my other two friends, and a drink, was more than enough for a meal. I'll be back there soon, since all my friends keep wanting to go!

I was lucky enough to have a friend invite me to the Five Guys "Friends & Family" training night, right before Five Guys opened in Ithaca, and they're off to a fantastic start! Five Guys focuses on just hamburgers, hot dogs, and french fries, and they pride themselves on quality and fresh ingredients. There's even a sign to tell you where today's potatoes came from. (Tonight's were from Sugar City, Idaho.) The burgers are all in the $3-6 range, a large fries will easily feed three, and it'll be easy to feed the family for $5-8 per person. For a meal at fast-food prices, this is outstanding. The burger's top-notch, and the hand-cut fries are hot and crisp. (The Cajun ones have a real kick, too.) I've written more at 14850 Dining, and definitely encourage everyone to visit Five Guys. http://dining.14850.com/reviews/r_fiveguys.html

Decent burgers for the price and pretty clean for a fast food restaurant. The fries are nothing special.

Lackluster and decrepit Wendy's…read more My order took forever to place in the drive thru. Lots of cars snaking around the building. Had to order, stop, repeat, order, stop, repeat then order while the order-taker was busy goofing around with pals and looking for the right button to push. Meanwhile my buttons are being pushed. The food was thrown upside down (with an open lid) into a paper sack which leaked hot and rancid smelling chili all over the car seat when I received it. The meat inside the soup tasted "laying around and reheated", as it must have been! I know kitchens. These employees just eat the good food and serve last weeks grub to seniors and school kids in the drive thru!! Some meat pieces in the chili (the size of a burger patty) had what looked like bite marks on them: which leads me to believe that the employees eat the good food daily and then (instead of just throwing out the old) - serve the old food from yesterday to customers.. all kinds of strange pieces of food were in the chili-soup: Stale scallions. Freeze dried rice. Vegetable ends? Uncleaned kitchen tool-particles inside my plain-ordered burger.. Burned cheese. Black bits of rust. Greasy finger prints.. Review: (barely a) 3

When you try to call the phone number listed a recording says that the telephone is temporarily out of order. I probably should consider myself lucky because literally every time I order a double stack with just cheese (and I stress just meat, cheese and bun) it is almost always wrong. Sometimes even the remade burger is wrong again. Most of there workers seem completely uninterested in doing their job (there are a few younger women that are an exception). This place really needs to get new management!

After a long hiatus, I finally made my triumphant return to North, this time with my girlfriend, to relive the magic and, of course, put their food to the test. We went for the Tompkins Burger ($8.49) -- a classic setup with onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce. No sauce included, but that's a choose-your-own-adventure situation at the condiment station. My girlfriend gave it a 7/10, and honestly, that feels right. It's a solid, no-nonsense burger that exceeded my size expectations (which is half the battle with late-night food). I also really love their the boneless wings. Specifically, the sweet chili and honey mustard flavors. Maybe I'm biased (I would eat chicken for every meal if society allowed it), but these wings slap. Flavorful, saucy, and the perfect balance of sweet and tangy -- 10/10 would recommend :) Beyond the hot food, Nasties is the ultimate convenience stop. Need snacks? Drinks? A pint of Cornell ice cream to emotionally support you through finals? They've got you covered.

Collegetown bagels is the most popular bagel spot in Ithaca, but I don't find nostalgia in the bagels, primarily due to the tougher texture. However, I do really enjoy their spicy Italian bagel and rosemary salt bagel (although a bit too salty to my liking), and especially their cream cheeses. My favorite has to be their parsley-garlic cream cheese which is loaded with garlic and the freshness of parsley. Other honorable mentions include veggie and bacon-scallion cream cheese. I've had a few of their sandwiches as well. Their Havana Breeze doesn't include much ham or pickles, and the bread was quite greasy on inside and outside which made the sandwich overall very heavy. Their Tour de France has roasted turkey, Brie, apples, honeycup mustard, bacon on multigrain bread (I substituted for focaccia. The bread was soft, but I would've liked it more if it had more seasoning (like some Italian/herb seasoning). The sandwich is cold, but I think having it warmed up/toasted would meld the flavors together better. There was a generous amount of bacon and Brie, but the overall sandwich just didn't seem homogenous. Perhaps a sauce or jam (like a bacon-apple jam) would've helped to bind the flavors more. Lastly, their earl grey hot cocoa consisted of an earl grey tea bag in watered down hot coca which was a bit disappointing. Overall, not the best bagels I've ever had, but their cream cheeses are delightful. I'll still go back to try their baked goods and other sandwiches.
