Two Guys Brewing - Bourdain mortadella sandwich feature with Brussels sprouts

I have frequented this spot a handful of times since my first review, most recently with my friend…read moreMelissa to try some of their featured mortadella sandwiches. We arrived right at 5 pm on a Friday and the place was almost full already! We were surprised but happy for them, and glad to get a nice cozy two-top in a back corner. We were greeted by our awesome server and ordered some food -- two different mortadella sandwiches and an order of fried pickles to start. Neither of us ordered drinks, but I saw some fun-looking cocktails coming over to nearby tables. The fried pickles came out first and they were perfection. I don't usually get this appetizer because I don't like fried pickle spears, but these were thin chips. The ratio of the fried pickle chip vs. spear is way better. And these came with the best runny ranch. It was a huge portion to split between the two of us, so we had lots left over. Our sandwiches came out shortly after and looked amazing. They were super stacked with tons of meat! I really liked the addition of the grainy mustard which helped cut through the fattiness of the meat. My friend liked hers - it had pistachio butter and ricotta (similar to a delicious sandwich I ate at a wine bar in Detroit). Portions are large and it's a cozy, neighborhood spot. They have rotating food features and are always helping out their community with free meals and other philanthropic ventures. Check them out!

We were seated quickly, the interior was nicely decorated with Mardi Gras beads. It took a while for our server to come to greet us and eventually bring our drinks. I enjoyed the variety of drink offerings! I was torn between a few items and asked the servers recommendation. I ended up choosing a Korean chicken bowl. The flavors were okay but for almost $20 felt a bit lackluster. Our friends told us the burgers are a must try so maybe in the future that would be what I try instead. Our server seldom came to our table, we had to flag her down to order more drinks and even then she forgot and we had to remind her we placed another drink order. The restaurant was not very busy and we could see her chatting with a table that seemed like employees or family members of employees as people were coming in and out of the kitchen to sit at the table. We had a table of four (two couples) and the server would not split our bill which was fine but a bit inconveniencing. I appreciate local, family owned businesses but felt that our experience was a bit off on this night. I love the mission of Two Guys and their community engagement so I will likely try them again, it could've just been a rough night.

I want to like it. I've tried this place about 4 times. It's locally owned, they donated money to…read moreThe Patmos Library to prevent it from closing when there was a "war on books." The staff is friendly and nice ... it's just the food... I've given up on the burgers after they've made them wrong on previous occasions. Lately, I've been trying the falafel wrap. The first time I had it, it was just okay. This time? Almost inedible, sadly. The falafels appear to be homemade, and I think they're baked rather than fried? Or maybe they just got soggy waiting in the window? I don't know. The texture was really bad. Pasty and chewy and makes you feel thirstier than you need to be. The hummus accompanying the falafel enhanced that pasty gluey feel in the mouth and there was no crunch. It's $14 for a sandwich. I was able to gag down half of it and drink 3 waters before I gave up to go back to work. I don't know, there are cheaper options around that are also locally owned that taste better, sadly. I guess this place is fine for drinks? I wouldn't know. Try it and see if it's delicious l guess. I think I'll drive myself over to The Arrows or Delicias instead.

They offer high top, half booth/table, and full table options as well as booths. Lots of TVs and great atmosphere for families or to come watch a sports game. Upon arrival our server who was so great quickly got us water and then asked if we had any other drink requests. He was so patient and explained the bottomless options to us as well. All 4 adults enjoyed a burger and the kids had the boneless wings appetizer and also the macaroni and cheese kids meal. The kids meal comes with a drink and a side. The entire kids meal is bottomless! What a deal! My only feedback here was when the second round of Mac and cheese came it was frozen. The burgers all came with bottomless sides too. The burgers were cooked exactly how we ordered them and they were stacked with fresh & crisp veggies! I LOVE their sweet potatoe fries! The absolute best! Their onions rings are also great and massive they are breaded with a seasoned breading (I don't think those are bottomless) and so crispy! Prices for the burgers range based on the speciality versions you get. Overall excellent food, great location, and great service! We spent just over $90 on all 6 meals. Seemed a little higher than other spots given one of the meals was a kids meal and one an appetizer but if you get seconds on the bottomless items it feels worth it! And they participate in the community - if you have a Grandville Dawg card they give you a discount! We will definitely be back!
