If you ask my husband, he rates Five Guys - Albertville four stars because they acknowledged him as, "sir", but for me the experience definitely deserves dang near five stars! The ONLY reason I am giving the experience four stars is because burger toppings were missing from one of our meals. Notably, the individual who rang us up captured the right toppings. The establishment is clean, and while we were expecting a larger crew, two employees were visible during our dinner stay and they did a great job! Made an online order. Drove 10 minutes to pick it up. Got back home to find the order was wrong. It wasn't a quick "pick it off and eat it" type of mistake. So I let my husband enjoy his hot food before driving all the way back to the restaurant for the correct $12 burger I ordered. He gets there to find the restaurant closed and locked their doors 15 minutes early, before the posted closing time. They wouldn't open the door to his knocking, so he had to call the restaurant. Good customer service means remaking the burger without being asked, and also giving a token (gift card, free food) to say "we're sorry, please come back"- something for the inconvenience and have us consider returning to this location. They remade the burger, and it still wasn't exactly what I ordered! This place isn't cheap, we expect employees to be able to read their tickets and get things correct the first time or make it right by the customer. read more

This was my first time eating at this location. The sign before ordering stated, You must have exact change and if not use your credit card. I use my card any way, but some may not like the sign. :-/ I haven't had five guys in years, but since I was shopping in the area, I decided to dine here. Me ordering forgot to make sure I didn't order a double, and make sure I order a single cheese burger. I still messed up my own order. :-( I ordered a cheese burger with ketchup and mustard, Small fries and a soft drink. When I received the burger, it was double. I ate 1/4th of the burger. The rest my husband ate it when he came to pick me up. The food was delicious and definitely I love the fries. This five guys needs some work yet. My 5 top thoughts: 1. Music is way too loud! 2. Food is fairly expensive for generic burnt hamburgers. 3. Fries are delicious. 4. They desperately need a person dedicated to the upkeep of the restaurant on weekends. Tables, chairs and floor get super dirty and trash over flows onto the floor. 5. Customer service is pathetic. Located in the Albertville Outlet mall, Five Guys serves up about the best tasting and freshest fries imaginable. I've had soggy fries at some Five Guy's locations, but not here. These fries were so delicious I wanted to order more. The burger was good, but a little lackluster when compared to such fry perfection. I wish they'd put the cheese on earlier so it would melt more. Stopped here on a roadtrip while I was starving and the food hit the spot! It was definitely better quality than fast food, but our burgers and fries came out quickly! Loved the free peanuts available to snack in while we were waiting. I ordered the little hamburger, which was the perfect size for me. I love the variety of toppings available including grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and lots of sauces! My mom got the grilled cheese, which is a bun with cheese, but you can also add veggies to that if you like! read more

This restaurant needs work. Some of it is very basic and easy to make improvements. Just have someone on staff consistently clean the place. They must not care since I read some of the previous reviews and no improvements have been made. I was going to give them two stars because the fries were delicious, but I ended giving one star since they seem to have a history of uncleanliness and poor customer service. It was so trashy in the literal sense. Trash cans were full and overflowing on the floor. Tables, chairs and floor all super dirty. The restrooms were pathetically dirty. We never saw any of the staff doing any cleaning. The worse part was the loud terrible music. They were playing heavy metal the entire time and it was so loud that you could barely hear yourself talk. This place is going downhill fast. I came about two months ago and they were out of hot dog rolls. Never told us just gave us naked hot dogs. I was pissed then. Now, we decided to try again today. No hot dogs at all. No sprite, no root beer. All sodas taste odd like the syrup ratio is off. And our order was wrong to boot. SO disappointed! read more

I ordered 2 sandwiches. The took the order correct, but made both sandwiches wrong. Then I watched them remake them and the girl the actually handled the lettuce and buns and what not, kept touching her hair then handle the food. I'm really grossed out. Food is decent as any 5 guys location is but be prepared to wait FOREVER even if it's not busy. It's run by a million people at once but they still take forever and some people aren't the nicest. Even saw one kid lick part of my shake off his fingers with no gloves and proceed to make it without washing his hands. It's ridiculous.
