25 years of waiting and just disappointment…read more Nice warm day out, and me and my mom decided to go get something to eat for lunch. We hadn't been here before, but she has been waiting 25 years to come here. She has lived in Akron for all her life, and Kenmore for 10 of those. The bread was soggy, the ingredients were not quality whatsoever, it even looks like they cooked the sandwich with the lettuce on it. The pickles, the only thing free with this expensive meal, were soggy. We paid $41 for this meal for just utter disappointment. Not only that, but these are MAGA Trumpers, displayed everywhere, which is embarrassing in a town with such diversity as Kenmore has. Most of your customers are black, so this is just insulting.

Price seemed in-line with other places, staff was particularly nice. People mentioned MAGA stuff (huge RED flag for me) and I DID see a Trump/Vance sticker (wtf?) but I also saw a Biden/Harris sticker. So if you are reading this Ms. Primo...how about: no stickers? I don't want to ruin my appetite thinking about Trump. That being said, the sandwich was the best sandwich I have eaten in Ohio. I will return and get some weird thing when I go back. Building was old a full of knick-knacks. They seemed to sell retail beer, but the selection wasn't amazing but they had some interesting stuff.

I was excited to see a great selection of soups, sandwiches, salads, and pitas on the menu. I ended up ordering the falafel pita and a small matzo ball soup, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they carried Poppi, the gut-friendly soda, which is always a plus. And I treated myself to a little baklava as well. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The falafel was flavorful, the pita was soft and warm, and the soup was comforting and well-seasoned.
