This girl is so in control of her job, manners and overall personality that it's seriously refreshing to see. She can't be older than 20 years old but handled multiple customers odd requests, scanned my items and walked my basket back to the rack while directing a coworker to help another customer out all in one interaction. Small things that can go unnoticed add up and she's great at what she does so good for her. I hope someone in the company sees this and recognizes her effortless great work. Hard to find naturally great employees at that age nowadays it seems like.

I said to my wife oh! Its our sons birthday this month, lets get his birthday bear! Later on in the day we stopped here. So this is not the typical full store experience, but a slimmed down 1 aisle kiosk. So if you were looking for 300 outfits and the latest Yoda or whatever, this is not a place for you. If you do not mind a choice of 15 bears instead of 80, and 30 outfits instead of 300, than this place is for you! Staff was very very friendly, and they do their best to make the experience just like a regular store. They still advertise parties, but I do not know how they would do it here. The prices are exactly like a regular store, there is no discount coming here compared to a full store. So we got the birthday bear with an outfit and the $3 bear turned into $45... I could go to the Osh Kosh etc for cheaper clothes lol! They still did a great job with the hugging of the heart and the kid stepping on the button to fill the bear with stuffing etc. Next year he will have more fun picking out an outfit! I attempted to return it, in New Jersey, because it was convenient. The Target stores Downtown Brooklyn are super busy and the merchandise return lines are long. The Target in Deptford insisted that I have the receipt where it was purchased, because it was delivered by Instacart. The rep was not at all courteous. She acted as if she was in a rush. It doesn't matter which state I shop, I always find Target and the customer service questionable. One star because the k-pod coffee is lit. Other, I am not impressed.

I have been going to Hallmark (everywhere I have lived) for many years because it's the only place where I can find specific cards for any occasion. I am a card person and I have almost always found a card for any occasion for people in my life. For example, my mom found a sweet card that said "Happy 1st birthday to my grandson". I have found cards for "my niece and her family", "my brother and his fiancée", "special wishes for a happy birthday and a merry Christmas" (for a relative born during the holidays), "nephew's 1st Valentine's Day", "baby's 1st Christmas", etc. There are a ton of options for rare occasions (baby dedications/baptisms/christenings, relocation, retirement, etc.); celebrating special moments (engagements, adoptions, weddings, baby showers, new home); recognizing and/or celebrating people with a unique role in your life (babysitter, dog walker/sitter, your doctor,) etc. There are entire sections dedicated to: "just because" cards; "someone special"; or "a special friend" (with a variety of messages about your love for them, or that you're thinking of them, or you miss them, or about them being dear to you despite being far away); birthday cards for specific ages (not limited to milestones); funny cards for kids and adults; cards from "all of us"; get well soon cards; sorry for your loss cards, support when grieving the loss of a pet; etc. During any (and I mean, any) holiday, they feature a special selection - right now they've got St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, Philadelphia Eagles win memorabilia, etc They also carry keepsakes, trinkets, plush toys, blankets, some clothing, bags, and a large selection of gifts for special occasions (graduation...) and specific people in your life (mom/dad/daughter/son/spouse/partner...) Personally, I've made a vow to never succumb...I will always love the smell, feel and touch of a "real" book in my hands. For me, there's nothing better than turning page after page without a click or a swipe...it's all about the real deal. I love perusing the aisles as I check out the latest from my fav authors, cookbooks, magazines and more as I plot my purchases. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is happy and relaxed; and you may hear a giggle or two of kids in the back as they're being read one of their favorite stories. As an added bonus there's a B&N Café inside that features a variety of Starbucks coffees and beverages. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends, your book club, or whoever for a cup of joe and some eats!

I go in with the claims department on the phone to customer service when I told them I have the claims department on the phone and was told to talk to customer service about the report the employees left like cockroaches exposed to light. I was arguing with the guy on the phone about how they all left. He didnt believe me so I moved next to the registers so customers and employees can here on speaker phone. This was the only way I actually got a supervisor. They filled out the report 50 minutes after going into the store. To file. Today I get a call from Walmart I reviewed my dash cam and explained a customer pushed the cart into my car because he was arguing with the cart attendant refused to take the cart, at least that's how the body language between them looked. So theystated it does not be covered because a customer did it. What a joke I should just sue but the damage is not enough to make it worth sueong. Was a big Walmart fan till now. And don't ever attend to go back to one.

I walk around and I genuinely feel bad for the employees. It doesn't look like anyone is having fun or feels supported. She got everything that she was after, of course! I "accidentally" spent damned $111, but was truly in need of the bedding, toiletries, sour cream, and dog food that I bought! I did NOT need yet another happy faced (collecting since childhood!) item! And a tumbler at that?!!! Employees were MIA, but this isn't anything new for this franchise. Friendly check out woman (training a younger male). This particular store is antiquated but more than fine in my book.
