With thier price increase I no longer enjoy going there knowing that I can get the same items for the same price and in rare instances cheaper. I've noticed with the increase in price came a decrease in selection. I'm not sure that I could whole heartedly in good conscience reccomend this location of Dollar Tree.

So, I piddle around these places finding things that are potentially good bargains and usually I justify needing it or I give things to my kids. With that being said, Roses doesn't always have high quality things but it's just like Big Lots or Ollie's where you find some interesting stuff and worth going through. It's hard to say you'll find things every time but if you just like to walk around and shop- it's great!

Since Krogers is and has went down and away in the South side of Springfield it has been rather difficult buying groceries clear on the north side only if Springfield for everyone; including us people whom live in Yellow Springs! Dollar General on Yellow Springs Street needs to expand in to the field next door - and or buy the old Krogers store on South limestone and create a Market Dollar General store as WE the customers have NO options as to where to buy our food from! Let's say the options are slim pickings; either north side Krogers or North side Walmart! Clearly we NEED more options we live on the SOUTH side and many consumers like me live outside of the south end of Springfield. We are driving past 2-3 Dollar generals every day to get to Kroger's or Walmart's on the north end ! It makes PERFECT sense 2 invest in us!

The last two times I've been to this DG store, the cashiers have been condescending, unhelpful, and…read morereally very rude. I'm the first to admit that I don't understand their coupons. I have the online app so I went to coupons or deals, (whatever it was called) and what popped up was five dollars off $25 & $10 off $30. I knew I had over $30 worth of items. I double checked the coupon and it said it's good until June 13. It did not say only good on weekends or Saturdays or whatever their policies might be, that I never have used too much. So I asked the cashier & showed her my phone with the coupon she says, " no this is only for Saturday". I said ,it doesn't have that on here. says that it's good until June 13. I'm thinking maybe it's a special coupon to get me a shop there more often or something. She said 'well I'm telling you it's not good till Saturday'. Then she summoned over another cashier who looked very annoyed & didn't want to be bothered with me and my ignorance of the store policies. She replied 'it's not good 'and walked away. At this point, I was a little put off by the attitude I was getting from both of them. It wasn't kind or helpful. The cashier kept saying ma'am in a very belittling manner. So I asked if theres a manager or somebody we could ask about it. She said 'ma'am, that WAS the manager and she said you can't do it.' I realized as I was checking out that this will be the last time I'll be in this store. There's other stores and there's other DG's The behavior is apparently accepted by management here, but I don't have to accept it.
