Great inventory at this location. Plenty of colorful eccentric items. Pretty original candles waxed…read morewith different designs. Home decor, electronics, exercise, apparel, toys, candy etc. Prices vary. This is no longer the 5 below store but the $25 below store smh. I'm confused on one thing, workers are in the store stocking but kiosk is your method of checkout. WHY!! Overall this was a good choice today.

Five Below is the Neiman - Marcus of dollar stores, but you'll find no Needless - Markup here. The…read moreprices on some items may be 5 times as much as the dollar store, but just like Neiman - Marcus, you're getting a better quality for your $. On my most recent visit, I learned that several of the brands available at Five Below are exclusive. Just like the warehouse clubs, FB has created their own products to pass savings on to their shoppers and here you do not need to have a membership card to save. This shopping visit was all about my New Years Resolution to live a healthier lifestyle. I remembered seeing Yoga mats on my last visit, so I came back to get one for the class I am starting. The mat is very comparable to others I've looked at for $20-$25 and I only paid $5. I was also able to get a Yoga block for only $4. I also found some very functional and practical containers for packing lunches. Now I have no excuse not to pack a healthy lunch. It will stop me going out for fast food. Another goodie I found was a small cookbook called 100 Healthy Foods. Logically it listed 100 healthy foods and then gave you a healthy recipe to enjoy them. I avoided the temptation of their huge candy department. The cashier even commented on my strength. She saw me circling the display, with the eyes of a child. If you're headed to the movies, I do recommend you come here and buy your movie treats and sneak them into the theater. When I shop here, I shop like I do at Bath and Body Works and that is with no basket. That way, when I can not hold or carry any more items to buy I know it is time to stop shopping and check out fast.

WARNING THIS STORE DOES NOT SUPPORT DISABLED VETERANS! Now, I understand that people steal carts. I…read moreget that. However, I am an Afghan war Veteran. I proudly served my country in Afghanistan. (514th Support Maintenance Company, 419th CSSB, 10th Mountain Division Sustainment Brigade out of Fort Drum, NY) I needed to purchase 4 large things of soda along with two jugs of water. While on the outside I probably look like a health man in his mid-40's I gave my body to my country. Carrying a large number of heavy items is difficult for me. The wear and tear on my body from my service was severe. Some small tasks that seem simple for a man my age are extremely difficult. When I tried to push my cart out the door an old female employee who's skin looks like that of an old baseball glove left out in the Arizona sun for several decades and who reeked of tobacco (out of respect I won't name her) informed me I couldn't take a cart out of the store. I pointed to my car and informed her that I am happy to bring the cart right back. Once again, she rudely screamed at me. I informed her that, I was a US Army Vet who served in Afghanistan and in service to get my body is completely F'd. In frustration I did use the full F word and for that I do apologize. She only became more rude and informed me that I'm no longer welcome in her store and she doesn't care if I am a veteran are not. I put the cart back and carried the items myself. These may seem like simple tasks to her but for me (even at the age of 42) it was extremely difficult. It was a struggle. I do not want a hand out, I do not want anything from this location. I want everyone to know this place spits on veterans with disabilities. If you support veterans, do not support this store. Again, I was in the wrong for cursing in the store. But a little bit of compassion, help or trust is all I needed. My car was parked directly outside and I was happy to bring the cart back. Instead I was asked to leave and never return. It's hard to serve your country and feel like you can't be trusted to use a cart to help with your disability. This may not be an awful business but do not go here if you support our veterans. I gave one start because zero was not an option.
