But the overall appearance of this store inside- especially on a rainy or snowy day-- is really gross. Even the bay where they store the grocery carts is loaded with trash. Contrast this to the location near Pottstown, PA, where they have a cleaning crew roving the store as you shop. And even their concrete floors were shining. It was the nicest one I've seen yet. I would put this Parkesburg PA store on life support and get a proper clean-up crew to spend a week there cleaning & teaching.

I went to the checkout counter with my other belongings and told the associate that I had a pair of pearl earrings under the name on hold and she grabbed a random box of earrings that were not mine and rung them up. I did not realize they were the incorrect box (since the jewelry counter associate didn't have them in a box when she helped me) and had to drive from King of Prussia back to the Parkesburg store which was a HUGE inconvenience and waste of my gas as the associate should have paid more attention to what I told her instead of grabbing a random box of diamond earrings (which is what she gave me). I asked to speak with a manager when I left the store and made a call because I was still extremely upset and Jamal the manager was unhelpful as he stated that he would talk to the person (after I described the associate to him) so that she didn't do it again which was very inconvenient and unacceptable since I was the one who was inconvenienced and had to waste my gas to drive back to the store because of error made on his associates part. NOTHING was offered to me to rectify my situation of being inconvenienced. Poor Customer Service by the associate and Manager at this location. I DO NOT recommend this Parkersburg, PA location at all. Worse Experience I've Ever Had At A TJ Maxx Location. They clearly DO NOT value their customers or the experience that they have at their location.

On a recent visit to the store to purchase 3 items, I got behind another customer in the only check…read moreout line that was open. The cashier rung up the gentlemen's order but could not scan his coupon with the scanning gun. He called for the manager who came over about a minute later and also could not get the gun to work. After about another 2 minutes of trying to figure out why the gun wasn't working, the manager suspended the transaction and took the gentleman to another register to finish his transaction. Meanwhile, my cashier could not use his register without the manager re-opening it. At this point, there are about 8 other customers in line behind me. After finishing the other transaction, the manager spends about 1 minute talking to another employee before coming back to my check out line. Magically, 2 more check out lines open up. With nowhere to go since my items were already on the belt, the other customers flock to the newly opened lines. I have now been standing here quietly for 10 minutes and in that time neither the cashier nor, and most especially, the manager never once acknowledged me or apologized for the inconvenience. Upon her arrival at the check out line, the manager took out the cash drawer and for the first time (and without apology) said anything to me. She informed me that: "You have to go get in another line." Upon telling her that I should not have to go to the back of a line and that she should ring up my order, she responded by saying: "No, you have to go to another line", I told her once again that she should ring up my order and she once again responded: "NO." Needless to say, I left the store without purchasing my 3 items, and I will never be back. I have seen some people that should not be considered "management" in my day but this one was the worst. No acknowledgement, no apology for my inconvenience and just expecting me to pick up my stuff and wait in the back of another line after I had already wasted 10 minutes of my time just because she didn't feel like ringing up my 3 items. LOTS TO SEE and definitely could use multiple trips to see everything stacked, stored and hiding on the loaded shelves. Look high and low there are things everywhere! Only one cashier so be patient. Ring the bell and they will help you as soon as they can. Prices vary as it is a multi seller facility. Fun fact we actually saw the same thing in three different vendors. ALL prices differently so keep your eyes peeled you may find your treasure cheaper!

Fun, antique store with three levels and organized very well…read more I made my first official purchase at this antique store after visiting a combined ten stores consisting of thrift stores and antique stores over the past few months. I found a hand signed and framed map of Egypt entitled "Treasures of the Nile". Shockingly it was only $5 bucks too, score! My girlfriend and I spent a total of two hours here and we both left with some purchases. They also had a pamphlet on the main counter by the register showing where over fifty antique stores are located in the Tri-State area.
