Business Response: "We do have the rug sale signs up all the time to promote them as we discount our rugs more than most of our other items and every week we mark down some rugs" Very deceptive advertising and prices that are not actually a bargain after comparing to other local stores that actually have customer service and do price adjustments and returns for defective items!

I found a journal for $4 at another location and was looking for the same one but a different color for my friend. They did have it for $10 and the same one I got for $5. I thought I would ask if the $10 was supposed to be the same price as the $5 one because they were the same exact item just a different color and I was told no, the price is what it is - understandable. I decided not to get it and to adventure back to the first location I seen it for $4. They have a lot of cool stuff but I find that a lot of it is a bit pricer unless you are a member and get the discount. The store was fairly quiet & chill. They are a great selection of books, novelties, toys & etc.

After contacting Customer service MULTIPLE times including spending over an hour on the phone after work one night, I got absolutely nowhere. Found out they never even charged the creditcard at time of purchase to load the gift cards. So instead of $200 being charged and loaded onto gift cards the clerk charged the giver $5.44 and loaded $0.00 onto the gift cards. But of course it's been crickets from Barnes And Noble since I notified them of this. They don't actually care to rectify the issue.
