This was the Five Below I first fell in love with. It's the one we lived across from for a few years over a decade ago. I'm happy to still see it here and kept up well. I had some time to kill before the dentist so I took advantage of the time I had to go Easter basket shop. Mission accomplished! They have lots of trinkets and home goods that might just be what you needed but never got the chance to buy before. Whatever you want, they've got it. And for cheap. Yes, their name is misleading because the fine print says items go up to $10, but I surprisingly only bought things that went up to 5. I guess I have cheap tastes. You want some random t-shirts with varying levels of humor? They got a whole wall of em. You want housewares? Yep, they got that. I'm in love with 5 and below ! This store makes you want to be a kid again similar to shopping at TOYSRUS. They've got sooo much to choose from here when planning an event or gifting. I visited this location this week in search of a Bluetooth wireless speaker for my daughter's 1st slumber party. I found one and also was able to pick up a container of 8 assorted nail polish colors for the pedicures we'll be doing. They have a large variety of cosmetic items here. I also scored a retro t-shirt from the hit 90's movie Clueless. It's super cute and I purchased a women's small which fits perfectly ! Can't wait to rock it this summer with some cut off shorts and platforms. I will definitely be shopping for more retro tees at $5! My daughter also bought a pack of 48 colored pencils in some unique shades ! She loves making art so that was perfect ! So far this is my favorite location. Well, you get what you pay for. Keeping that in mind, Five Below is a great store. I buy all my movie candy here and the prices are pretty decent. They mostly keep the place clean and know where things are. Staff is helpful and friendly. Five Below.. Literally everything here is 5 bucks or less.. Does it get any better than that? And don't say yes -- I know that .99 Cent stores exist but the quality doesn't compare lol.. They even have seasonal goodies, which meant my wrapping paper this past holiday season only set me back $2. They're still on the Island instead of the city, but that's still a lot closer than traveling out of state or up past the Bronx. They know how to get you with snacks, too. This is for any Five Below store, I've been in several. Interesting store with some useful items, mainly a store for kids items. Be careful what you buy here, a lot of it is just crap, particularly electronic items. No better than dollar store quality. I bought a small RC helicopter and didn't expect to work that great, and I was right. Not only didn't it work that great, it didn't work at all, and I had to return it. Things like headphones look sharp, but don't expect Bose quality sound. It's a fancy dollar store, where instead of everything being $1, it's $5. You get what you pay for. read more

Deals are to be had here. It's kind of like an upper scale 99 cent store; to describe it in a nut shell. Lots of useful little items for going away on vacation or daily household items. I love this place. Im a 48 year old woman with no kids and still love it. I got some decent soft scarfs for the winter, some storage units for my make up and such, earbuds, candy and more for like 22$. The only problem was the plethora of 10 year old boys running around like lunatics on a saturday night. Holy crap i guess this is the hot spot of Levittown for the tween crowd. Definitely consistent with my experience at the Five Below in Paramus. Same unique candy (some that you can't find at most places) as well as unique merchandise. In fact, you can find those stick figure decals here as well including farting decals! So glad to finally see one in the NYC/Long Island area. Pretty cools store, they sell all sorts of stuff for $5 or less. They have accessories for your iphones such as chargers and cases. They have ear phones, candy, video games,all sorts of stuff. I bought some earphones for my iphone for $5 and they work great. Staff seemed friendly only thing I noticed is all sales are final, they will only replace an item for you, no money back. read more

Time had passed, I had moved back to NY and long forgot about my discount friend. When I first heard a Five Below was opening in the {old Micheal's} Best Buy Shopping Center I was beyond ecstatic. Five below is a chain bargain store where everything is below $5. The difference here though is Five Below is not your typical dollar joint. Ipod/Ipad/Iphone accessories (speakers, cases, screen protectors etc), scarves, hats, gloves, cant find candy, name brand toys and even perfume (actually pretty good too). Cool place, above quality of dollar stores. It is conveniently located. I bought a lot of small toys here which were mostly okay, but one basketball deflated very quickly and the store did not exchange for the faulty item. There's a lot of brand name candy here, which is sometimes more expensive than what you'd have to pay for at other stores, so you have to be a smart consumer. I found a great deal on some Japanese snacks and candies which I can get at an equal or cheaper price compared to the nearby Asian market. What I really enjoy doing is buying snacks here and sneaking them in to the movie theatre next door. The earphones I bought here, unfortunately, broke Day 1, but that kind of item should really not be bought in a store like this and I should've known better. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. Seriously? Everything is under $5.00? Your kidding. They have items that you would not expect to be $5.00. They have those fun graphic tees for $5.00 normally in places like old navy or hot topic it is over $7.00 for those kinds of shirts. They have a huge candy section and tons of electronics. I am not sure what warehouse they get their goods from but I can only imagine how much they are making on these products. The kids section is great too. The issue with this place is that since everything is under $5.00 you can really do some damage. This is not one of those stores that just sells knock off items they have some brand named stuff here. I totally recommend this place to anyone. I am againt all apple products but they have tons of items for the iphone 4/4s/5 if you need a case. Awesome place and everything ia five dollars or below! I get all my phone cases here, also the screen protector is like 2 bucks. I just bought workout clothes! I bought some great storage items also and I organized my girls room with their fluffy green storage cases! I love how they always change their merchandise so it always feels like a new experience. One thing I wish they had more of is items for getting-like wrapping paper and party bags. I couldnt find any wrapping paper however found two aisles stock with birthday cards! Their candy selection is amazing-they have some old school candy and candy I've never seen before. Also you cant beat their little arts and craft section-my daughter took an art class and learned charcoal drawing-they literally had charcoal there along with sketchpads that she needed! Their acrylic paint is awesome for two bucks. It gets a bit crazy in the weekends but the girls at the checkout are super fast and very nice too! read more

I absolutely adore this store!!! Everything is exactly as the name suggests: $5 & below!! I have found so many cool things here & come here always for inexpensive headphones, phone cases, screen protectors, candy, & fun facts books for prizes for my students. Some of the items do change seasonally but they always have various games, play dough, Crayola products, sketch pads, pencils, pens, greeting cards, gift bags, tissue paper, DVDs, tech stuff, candy, hangers, sports memorabilia, books, socks, t-shirts, dumb bells, make up, kid's plastic jewelry, yoga mats, exercise items, & many other items. Right now since it is summer, there are tons of different items like water guns, floats, boogie boards, water balloons, flip flops, etc. This store is awesome. I have also found on many occasions the USB charger stick that allows you to charge your phone for up to 18 hours in case of emergency & for $5 to boot!! I get many gifts here for my friends' kids & will continue to stop in whenever I am in the area to take a look at what's new. Great store & friendly staff makes it even more appealing! This place is one of the few store that offers so much for so little. If you're a college student, or someone of a lower class, this place will supply you with what you need, with no "you get what you pay for" disappointments. Sometimes, this location will sell different items, way cheaper than their Target, or Best Buy prices. I was able to find a portable phone charger that was worth three more times than I got it for. The store is populated, but there is always plenty of breathing space. Waiting times to buy your products is very short, and sometimes noon existent. No problems until a store employee(looked like possibly the manager) sternly told my son to stop bouncing a ball because he claimed my son was going to crash the ball into items causing a mess that the store employee would have to clean up. Was very rude and condescending. I agree my son shouldn't have been bouncing the ball but the employee's tone of voice and rudeness was unnecessary.
