In another state the big lots will actually refund you for the trouble. However, they refused to do any kind of gift card and was rude. Don't, ever buy any furniture from this store. They don't care about how bad they screw you. So we are now out$160 and no couch in our living room. What sucks is the couch we had before was from big lots and we had it for 6 years. When I returned she asked me for my zip code that's listed on the freaking license that I had to go to the car, in the rain, to get. I said "you couldn't ask me for all the information?" And she turned from what she was doing and replied with "we have to have the I.d to input the information" then turned around continued imputing the information and said it's also listed on the sales receipt, you could choose not to give it to us then we just can't do the return." I said "oh ok" Then come to find out it doesn't even say state I.d. It says positive I.d and phone number, which could've been my military i.d.... I could've gave her that without going out to the car. I worked in a clothing store before and Ive dealt with some crazy customers but I was not rude or loud or anything and didn't deserve that trash Customer service she provided me with. She could've said "Oh sorry about that, it's a story policy, I just have to have the i.d in front of me." She had little patience. Mad rude and unprofessional. Just like anything we do in life there is a need of improvement while tempting with the eggs I noticed that there was allot of shattered eggs more than there where actual eggs ready for purchased. But hey that comes with any store hat you go to I suppose. My visit wasn't bad at all again I just came for the essentials overall store staff was professional and able to keep up with knowing where everything was located at as well as making sure the where not in the way of me or any other customers within the store.
