A person could spend literal hours in here looking around. Coming from larger cities and towns and places with great toy stores, I think this is one of the best I've ever been to in the country. I only wish I had gifts to buy or hobbies needed for myself! I can't even imagine how over the moon I would have been as a 10 year old girl. Hell, as a 30+ year old woman, I was amazed and entranced by the endless selection of stuffed animals - so many breeds of dogs which I'm a sucker for - as well as so so many other animal species, including those you can't often find as a stuffed animal. Wow! Prices seemed reasonable. I didn't interact with any store employees as I did not make a purchase but my view from afar was that they were helpful and sticking to their role while also allowing people to browse without being bothered. All in all, a great little stop for any families in the Hershey area!

To…read morebe honest, it's been a staple in my life, as I can remember being single and still venturing out to this wonderkind bookstore that rivaled Barnes & Nobles as well as Waldenbooks at the time. Today, it is still a modest bookstore that has a variety of niche items besides being your average book seller. While price gouging is running rampant and everyone is trying to find great deals on things, you can still spot some modest treasures here, which is what brought me to share my experience on this platform from the other night. So I used to come here to look for cool used DVDs and Blu-rays, but it seems like they've liquidated their stock on those items. However, they have a small, but mighty vinyl record section which had some very unique soundtrack albums, especially from labels that are usually sold through online retailers. I noticed that they had a few of the popular "Halloween" film series albums in this store at reasonable prices, since most of those horror scores sell for above average costs on eBay. I decided to return to the store the following day and pick one up for myself, and was greeted by store associate Heisey, who gave me the low down on BAM's membership perks as well as their online website. Overall, it was a wonderful trip down memory lane to look back on a store that has served the area quite well for over two decades, and to find something worthwhile that makes it even more exciting to return here again in the future.

Customers talking fandom with the staff, sharing experiences and opinions (sometimes they have a "NO SPOILERS" sign up when a big movie comes out) makes this more than a shop. It's like a community center for the region's nerd herd.

I don't let my kids run wild in stores; she was in my line of sight. We were browsing the store for the first time and looking to make a purchase. My daughter was touching one of the toys and the owner came out and spoke to her, a young child, very aggressively, very unnecessarily, and snatched it out of her hand. He startled her, though she wasn't damaging his merchandise. She tried to say something, but he cut her off abruptly and rudely. I POLITELY told him he could speak nicer to children, at which point he got loud with me, shouted at me not to come back and that I was "trespassing." He scared my kids and left me with a really bad feeling. Totally inappropriate for a business owner to go from 0 to 60 so fast with a child and a customer.
