Unlike some other…read moreDollar Tree stores, this one was a separate building not connected to any strip center or mall. And it was huge! As Dollar Tree now sells things for more than a dollar and carries other products, you have to check what prices go for which item. But this large store was pretty organized and had an enormous amount of stock in each section. We were looking for some specific items. And we found all of them -- which is unusual. We normally have to go to several different Dollar Tree stores to get them all at once -- no matter what is on our list. We like their greeting cards because they are so reasonable at either 2 for a $1 or a $1. That's a great bargain compared to other places. And my husband likes a particular brand of ice pops that they carry -- among other things. And they're always a good place for stocking stuffers, party items, and gag gifts, too. We also enjoy browsing and will try a new product if it appeals, as well. This store isn't in our regular shopping areas, but it was nice to know it's here as a backup if we can't find what we are seeking in another closer store.

All of the stores are still owned by the founding family and are headquartered in Bradenton. The first Beall's Outlet store opened in 1987. Beall's inventory reflects Florida's tropical lifestyle. I love their stylish purses, high quality beach towels, cute housewares, and tropical clothes. I am not a fan of digging through racks but the savings you get makes it worth it. I recently reviewed another Beall's Outlet and they are pretty much the same although you will find different clothes and sizes depending on which store you are in. I saw this store had only one star and it seems undeserved. I found the staff here very nice and helpful. They have a rewards program but I hadn't shopped in Beall's in awhile and none of the stores have been able to pull up my information. Jaime at this store was the first person who tried to straighten it out for me. When he tried every phone number and still couldn't find mine he ended up giving me a new rewards card. I think my credit card was deactivated for non use. It's nice to have the rewards card because you get an additional discount when you shop on certain days. I appreciate that Jaime took the extra effort to make sure I got the maximum discount. The only thing I didn't like about this store was that two times the clothes didn't have tags so the cashier had to stop and go out on the floor to find another one which held up the line. Definitely not a one star experience by any means.

I like the brand and have found many useful items at their stores in the past -- plus some very good Christmas gifts. And they've had some fun shirts for my husband. I wanted to come here to see what was new in stock. Even though they are a chain, there is sometimes a slight difference in what items each store carries. I really enjoyed this particular store. Everything was clearly marked, stacked very neatly, with lots of inventory, and easy to find. While browsing, I saw quite a few items that I liked. And I even brought a number of items into the dressing room to try on. My husband found a couple shirts on sale that were a bargain (really! one was $1.99.). So, adding in some things that fit me and that I knew I would get a lot of use out of, and were reasonably priced (they had many items at 30 to 40 percent off), I couldn't resist bringing them home. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that when I went to the check out that I had a few dollars in loyalty credits, so my purchase was even less expensive than I'd expected. Now that I have been here again, I shall be coming back more often.

Navigating into the Pharmacy pick up lane can be risky at times because careless drivers use the Jog ingress point as a cut through to avoid the traffic light at Lake Worth Road. The pharmacy is generally very helpful in person. The autoattendant, when calling, takes some patience to get through to a live person. Inside is clean, we'll stocked and has friendly staff members.

But I happened to mention to a friend (a fellow Yelp…read moreElite) that I was looking for a new dress for an occasion, and she suggested this Dillard's store. We were in the area of the Wellington Mall today, so I decided to stop by. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I've been to several other stores recently -- including Macy's and Nordstrom's Rack and a couple others -- and this Dillard's turned out to have the most selection of dressy dresses of any of the stores I've already visited. I was able to browse at my leisure. The dresses were grouped together which was a big advantage. And I actually found six different dresses to try on. Unfortunately, I didn't fall in love with any of them, so I didn't buy anything. However, I felt this trip here was more than worthwhile. I'm narrowing down what I like and what I don't in all the options available. Prices here were quite good, too. There was a variety of price ranges, but nothing was outrageous.
