On a last-minute search for a small gift for my boss for the recently passed holidays, I stepped into As Kindred Spirits on a whim, after having no luck for what I was searching for in their neighbor, Paper Source. As soon as I stepped in, I spied exactly what I was looking for - a beautiful ornament adorned with seashells on the top. My boss is retiring to the beach in the future, so this was -perfect-. There were actually two variations of the ornament, and I couldn't decide which one I liked more, so I bought both (shhh!). One will probably be given as a birthday present or her retirement present. :-) The lady that helped me was absolutely delightful to work with, and she took great care in removing the price from both ornaments for me, and worried about the fragility of them, placed them in a larger handle bag so there'd be less chance of dropping them. I will definitely be back in the future. I'm sure the spring will herald new sorts of goodies in As Kindred Spirits for me to oohh and ahh over!
