Something Special Home And Fashion Boutique

I went to Something Special Home and Fashion Boutique looking for a cardinal for my 2 year old…read moregreat great nephew. I have two cardinal lights that he loves to carry around when he visits. It's a locally owned store that has been around for a minute. The ladies working in the store were friendly and helpful. The store was beautifully decorated for the holidays, and they had several different kinds of cardinals. There were nativity scenes, decorated trees, decorative pillows with cardinals, just about anything you could want to decorate your home for the holidays, and to just decorate your home period. Something Special also has women's clothing. You can also get a lot of ideas on how to decorate your home, just from the displays they have. Right now they have a 30% off sale on Christmas items, I can't say for certain that it doesn't include things that aren't Christmas. If you're in Easley and you have some time, stop by Something Special Home and Fashion Boutique and check them out.

Their floral pieces and wreaths are well designed and reasonably. Their updated wall art is my favorite thing to buy, and I have three hanging in a newly redecorated room. Now that spring is around the corner, I am excited and eager to get out my seasonal decorations!

I bought a shotgun from a business out of state and requested a transfer to Action Pawn. I received…read morenotice from the business that Action had responded with their FFL information. I called Action and a man answered the phone. Automatically after explaining he said he was to busy, it's Monday and I have things to do. He said he would email me the information so I could send it to the business. Usually, from experience, they would handle all of that. He seemed to be really bothered when I asked additional questions. He then told me the gun shop I chose was not a good one! I tried emailing the FFL information to the gun shop but it would not work so I called them and a nice lady Jennifer squared me away with a new dealer Senator. I used him before and he only charges me $20 where action cost $30! I won't be going into that store again. The guy was a real butt!

I was visiting Action Pawn, just looking around for anything that caught my eye. As usual, they…read moredidn't have a good selection. As I was leaving, a man walked in with a Schecter guitar and an old Line 6 amp. It was a beautiful guitar, but nothing that I would be interested in buying. I have an extensive guitar collection, and I'm only interested in rare guitars at this point. This man's guitar was pretty, but not rare. I asked the man if I could look at it. He handed me the guitar, and I told him it was nice. I thanked him for letting me look at it, and as I was handing it back to him, the owner of Action Pawn, a large Baby Huey-looking dude with near-zero communication skills, took the guitar from my hand and ordered me to leave the store. Surprised by this, I asked him what the problem was. He would not give me an answer. Apparently, he thought I was trying to buy the guitar from the man. He didn't bother to ask me. I said, "Dude, I'm not trying to buy the guitar. I simply asked if I could see it. I have no interest in owning that guitar." Baby Huey then told me again to leave the store, which I did. It was a weird and unnecessary situation. This is my advice to anyone considering visiting or selling anything to Action Pawn in Easley, SC, don't do it. Baby Huey is known for paying the lowest prices for items brought into the store and selling them at much higher prices. Other pawn shops in the area offer fair prices and have a much better selection. The people working at the other pawn shops are much nicer and fairer to their customers, whether you want to sell or buy something. I suppose Action Pawn stays in business to serve the less educated, more desperate, and poorer part of the population in that part of town. Do yourself a favor and avoid Action Pawn in Easley, SC. Instead, visit one of the other, nicer pawn shops in the area. It's better to deal with more knowledgeable and fair-minded store owners than the low-intelligence Baby Huey that owns Action Pawn. There is a good pawn shop only a few miles from Action Pawn, located between Easley and Pickens on Hwy 8. Greenville has some great pawn shows with fair prices and great selections. Whether buying or selling items, go to where you will be treated most fairly. Avoid Action Pawn at all costs. As long as Baby Huey can deal with the more desperate people in the area, he will, and they will be the ones missing out on being treated more fairly for failing to visit the other pawn shops in the area first. If you have junk you want to unload, then Action Pawn may be the store for you. But if you have nice items that still have real value, do yourself a favor and avoid Action Pawn. Take your items to one of the other stores that will appreciate your business and give you a fair price for your items. I gave Action Pawn one star because they did not have a half-star option. Even then, a half-star would be too high.
