About a week went by and they still did not respond with an estimate. When I told them I really needed an estimate right away they replied that they were unable to service and "uninterested". I have no idea why they went from very responsive to uninterested in such a short period of time. I would not recommend them due to this initial issue with just getting an estimate and their sort of snide remarks. Too bad. I was looking forward to working with a veteran owned company!!

This review reflects my personal experience with this contractor. I recommend obtaining a copy of…read moretheir proof of insurance, having a very detailed written contract, and confirming all payment terms before any work begins. In our case, we were asked to pay in cash or make checks out to our own name rather than the contractor's business entity. We didn't realize this might be a red flag, but I'd suggest other consumers to clarify all payment details and ensure that checks are made payable to the business entity (not an individual) to protect themselves should any issues arise. I was dissatisfied with how the project was handled. Some work did not match what I understood to be our agreement (including the invoices themselves and written communications), and there was damage to our property (over a year later). The portions of the work that differed from the contract (as invoiced) were not covered under warranty, even though the company's website referenced a 5-year warranty on hardscaping policy. The products (plants) they said were under warranty were not replaced or refunded, despite multiple requests (and after spending over $36k with them). I offered to resolve the matter through the contractor's insurance, but proof of coverage was not provided. I was also billed for services I did not authorize. We ultimately had to hire another contractor to replace a portion of their work from our last contract and correct the work completed under one of the contracts, resulting in more than tripling the costs for that particular item. After a year of written attempts to resolve these issues, we were unable to reach an agreement. We were recommended in our correspondence by them to file a small claims case to recover what I believe are my losses. The experience was costly and stressful, especially since the work was for an elderly family member recovering from a stroke. I wish I had read all the online reviews on Yelp and Google more carefully. Based on my experience, I would not hire this contractor again and recommend that others proceed carefully (should they decide to proceed with them). If you want images and videos, it's in my review on Google Maps.

In June 2021, I contacted Cascade Landscape owner, Justin Piper, to purchase and install green…read moregiants. I initially started with 7 green giant trees. I was so happy with the product that I called and ordered 9 more for another area of my yard. I was very happy with the product; The trees were beautiful. In addition they provided privacy that I needed. Justin and his helper, Matt, very congenial and pleasant to work with. Approximately two months after the first 7 trees were planted by Cascade Gardens, 2 of the trees died. Even though we watered them daily, the trees did not make it. We called Justin regarding the dead trees. He came out and replaced them without any issue. I was very happy that this owner stood behind his product, was accommodating, and replaced the two trees. During the next three months the trees were doing fine and we were pleased. However over the winter, we lost five trees that were purchased in the second round. I was very disappointed and sent Justin pictures of the 5 dead trees. Justin promptly replied stating that he would come out in the spring after he received his shipment of trees. I was satisfied with this response. The spring came there was no contact from Cascade Landscape. I texted and he never responded. It took several weeks with multiple emails and phone calls before Cascade Landscape replied. He informed us that these trees were not guaranteed. He had already replaced two trees from the first set and couldn't afford to replace anymore! I was upset and my husband contacted them again. Even though we asked him to come out and see the trees, we never heard from them again! We are extremely disappointed with the lack of concern. I would not recommend doing business with this company. Other nurseries guarantee their product for one year.

When I politely asked him to move it, he first was sarcastic, then disrespectful, rude and finally verbally abusive. The tractor left tire tracks on my lawn which I had to repair myself. Of course, he was parked on the no-parking side and so far out into the street that he was virtually blocking traffic. This year we called A & J Porfilio Landscape Contractors Inc. for a quote to install 2 sets of steps and a walkway to the front of our house. Alfredo came out to take measurements and discussed the project. We received a detailed quote within a week, listing what he would be doing along with the material that would be used for the project. We had the opportunity to see first-hand how Alfredo & Noah took pride in their work. Seeing them spend the time needed measuring, marking and cutting so that every stone fit just right, making our walkway perfect.
