The instructors are clear & attentive, they really watch the class for newcomers and even do the workout with you while also being hype man for the whole class! Very impressive. The weights portion also has projections of the weight lift reps or the cardio moves in rotation. Very organized. The workout includes glove rentals, locker rooms, clean bathrooms, & towels. Thank you I bought my own gloves now so you'll see me around again.

I was going to a different studio and wasn't expecting to want to become a member here, but the intro sold me! Courtney and Mitch gave a thorough tour, and her class was so much fun! What really drew me in was the floor area - the class alternates between the bags and strength training so I felt like I was getting a well designed, comprehensive workout. The studio is brand new and super clean, I feel fortunate to be a founding member! In addition to Courtney and Mitch, Brian and Manny are awesome! Manny has been teaching members only clinics (free!) the past two Sundays and I've really enjoyed being challenged and learning from a professional in a small group setting! I also met Julia and Rumble's resident pup, Theo today. Everyone has been so kind, helpful and are truly starting to make it feel like a community. Rumble is located on the Peninsula on Newport Blvd near the pier. There is both street parking (which you have to pay for) and garage parking (which Rumble validates). They sell everything you need - gloves, wraps, workout attire and more. They offer complimentary towels, filtered water and lockers. You can also rent gloves for $3 a session. Booking classes is simple on the app, and you have the opportunity to choose your bag and bench. The studio is still new so classes aren't too full yet, but I feel like it's going to be picking up soon. They still have a ton of free intros going on and a bunch of specials for newcomers. Check it out! You won't regret it :)

We arrived about 10 mins before class begun to check in and we were told we were on "stand-by". Interesting since we booked the class 2 days ago and it didn't mention anything about a waitlist. We also mentioned it was our first time and instead of walking us through what to expect, we were brushed off and told to wait as she helped person after person get checked in. We saw another first-timer be told a run-down of what to expect so it was disappointing to know we weren't given the same treatment... I couldn't believe the amount of people just waiting around. Not kidding - must be around 40+ people. We heard the class enter the room and start their warm-up as we're still waiting around the front. No one else was around. Another employee went in to check what spaces were open- shouldn't their system be able to tell them that? We are so confused at this point... Finally we're told we can go in and are only told where to find the weights. We jump into the first half of the floor series, not warmed up or stretched. The workout itself is very tough, especially the running. I felt light-headed after my first run which was a little concerning. The instructor, Mackenzie, mentioned a list of first timers by name but mine and my friends were conveniently left out- not that I care but how could that be??? It was very tough to maneuver around the space as the benches, people, weights and water bottles were always in the way. Putting weights away was more like a crowded tip-toe...be careful not to trip or run into someone in a dark red lit room. After the workout, there was a line of people just to get out the door and we stayed to cool down. Most people left before the cool down. There were tons of people around the lockers and slowly moving around the lobby. So claustrophobic! I couldn't wait to leave. In the silence outside, my hearing was left muffled by the extremely loud music I endured the past hour. TLDR; felt unwelcomed, my friend and I didn't have a spot in class despite booking 2 days in advance, held hostage at the front lobby and did not have a chance to warm up, loud music, extremelyyyyy crowded. This was not for me.

We checked in at the front desk and…read morewere told we were on standby, which was confusing since we were not on the waitlist or anything, and booked the class over 24 hours in advance. I told the employee that it was our first class and she said she knew, yet she did not give us any info about the class or equipment like she did for the people we were behind in line. We showed up 10 minutes early just to wait to be let in until 5-10 minutes AFTER the class had already started! No one gave us a rundown of what to expect or how to work the equipment. Pretty unprofessional. It was very hard to jump in as everyone was already working out and we had to maneuver in the very dark, crowded room. The workout benches and treadmills are extremely close together and they overfill the class to the point where it's difficult just to put your weights away. It's clear that they pack the class in as full as they possibly can just to make more money off each class. I've tried numerous other work out classes in OC, and this was the most packed I had ever seen a class. There was a line just to get out the door! Very uncomfortable and way too crammed. During the class, our instructor, Mackenzie, congratulated all of the first-timers and named a list of people, but somehow our names were missing from the list... very bizarre! Also, how come all the other first-timers were able to go in before the workout began, and me and my friend had to wait until 5 or 10 minutes after it had already started?? On top of all of that, the music was WAY TOO LOUD. You could barely hear what the instructor was saying at times. My ears were ringing after class. Barry's gave me Cycle Bar vibes which I did not like. After this odd and unpleasant experience, we will not be returning.

He does Movement screening first, Fascial Stretch Therapy & massage (which feels great!) & functional training, then you graduate (I'm in this transition now...) to strength & high intensity interval training to get in shape. I do feel a lot stronger & a lot of the aches & pains have gone away. Power Fitness is on San Joaquin - the 1st left after crossing MacArthur, so very close & nice fun & supportive atmosphere. All the Trainers there are super nice & fun and there is no gym fee - only trainers, so you can keep your current gym. Jonathan's # is (602) 741-5499. Nice guy - they all are & the owner, Jimmy, is great - not outrageously expensive & you should feel a whole lot better while getting in shape!
