One summer many years ago, I had the opportunity to avail of the summer program of Fitness First Metro East. My membership lasted for only a month but it was fun and effective. During my first day, they gave me a green and pink Fitness First bag, three books which I can read to learn more about exercise and diet, and a tumbler. For my first 3 days, a personal trainer gave me complimentary training sessions wherein she taught me customized moves to target my problem areas and taught me how to use the numerous transformers-like equipment in the gym. With my membership, I also had access to all group classes. I got to try yoga, latin dance, and body attack; the latter was so effective that the day after I felt like my body aching as if it had gone through a war. I did not to continue my gym membership for budget reasons, but I still miss going to Fitness First for this place feels not just like a gym but a club. read more
