Back in high school when I was still cheerleading, Club Gymnastica was like a second training space for my team as well as many other cheerleading teams in Manila. We'd come to practice, learn and improve our stunts and tumbling on their gymnastics floor while being guided by the Club Gymn coaches.
The gym naturally gets really busy and crowded on the weekends and in the summer but it's an interesting atmosphere to be surrounded by so many talented people trying to learn or master their craft. From little gymnasts in colorful leotards to the teenagers practicing crazy breakdancing moves or parkour stunts it can get a bit overwhelming at times.
What I love about Club Gymn is that no matter what your skill level is or you're just a newbie with gymnastics, the coaches are there to help and if you come often enough you get to see the friendly little community formed within the gym. Don't hesitate to call and inquire about their workshops or the best times to go as a walk in. They also offer taekwondo lessons apart from gymnastics for kids in the summer. read more
