The main pool is pretty standard, if a bit old now, but it's fine if you just want to come and swim lengths. There's also a waterslide, which is alright for younger kids, but it's certainly not enough to upgrade the pool to leisure status. The squash courts are okay, again fairly standard, but if you visit before 5pm on a weekday then they're basically empty, so you can easily stay for longer than your time slot if you should so desire. Which is good, considering that 45 minutes costs £7.40.

You can book badminton courts and other facilities. I like the aerobics and pilates classes, you don't have to book a while course but 'pay as you go' which works well for me. I used to belong to the gym which had really helpful and knowledgable staff, but when I started working away cancelled my membership with no problems. Good, basic fitness stuff! Also has a car park.

I paid for a month in advanced, the staff was nice up until recently. One lady stormed into my room…read moreat 9am to wake me to tell me I couldn't use a fire exit door just by my room, that multiple people had been using. I was shocked that she could not wait until I came down for the day to tell me, she had to instead invade my space. Then another lady Theresa at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending. One day I came up to her for some laundry coins and she proceeded to tell me my room was empty theres no record of me staying there and my stuff is gone, and she said I could not enter the premises. I was shocked and immediately ran to my room whilst she was yelling at me that I couldn't (but its my stuff, anyone would run and check) and of course my stuff was there safe and sound; the poor girl got confused with another room! Imagine being told you cant go to your room and your stuff has been cleaned out and then threatened with security for trying to go find out. The house cleaning staff sorted it out for us and confirmed that she was indeed wrong. Then the people they let stay here are questionable and I was attacked by two old ladies (guests) who were odd and I bet homeless. Nothing was done and no apologies were given. The WiFi does not work at all and as a remote worker that was a huge inconvenience. I stayed for 1 month and a week and my room had only been cleaned 2 times since I have been here. If this sounds like good time; then this is the place for you. Theres another hostel in the center of town above Belushi's; go there.
