While this gym has some variety and open space for crowded gyms, it lacks many things. For example plates and weights are all over the place, nothing is ever in the right place. Bunch of torn up equipment especially attachments. My worst complaint for this gym is their customer service. It is absurd how long your on hold to try to get in contact with them. Multiple times I've been on hold up to an hour waiting for an answer. People at the front desk do nothing but stand there, can't even answer the damn phone. Fucking ridiculous. I have been a member of Fitness Connection in Forest Hill Texas since 2021 and recently they have implemented a new personal training program, so I signed up for personal training, My trainer's name is Brain Stephenson , Brain really know his stuff ,he is also very professional, he always explains every exercise and listens when I have questions . Training with Brain has been well worth the money, after only 3 weeks my endurance and strength and overall health has increased. Brain helps me stay focused on my fitness goals instead of wondering what to do at the gym or on my phone. I am excited to see my progress I am so glad I am making this investment in myself. read more

I am gonna be honest, Fuck Fitness Connection as a franchise. They have the option to pay a larger amount of money for you to be able to have guests, but your guests are not only limited, but if they have tried the 5 day pass they can't be a guest and they would actually have to make their own account. The App they have is shit. It isn't helpful at all, except for giving you information that you can see on the regular website. and another thing is how huge of a scam that shit is. If I get charged one more time from fitness connection they getting sued cause I was told what days I should have been charged, but as soon as i unlocked my card fitness connect just took the money out and I wasn't even shown having a balance on the app. Also they get your banking information which i personally feel like is an invasion of privacy. This gym is garbage... much like the other Fitness Connections in the area. Pro Tip for the staff: nobody, not a single member, cares if you want to walk out the door at exactly 10:00 PM. Everyone is aware of the bs closing time and is just trying to get in the most work they can BUT will walk straight out when the clock hits 10. The longer, louder, and more passive aggressive you get in the intercom just makes us all care less. The dipshits at this location played a piano outro from an 80's sitcom at almost full blast for the last 18 minutes of their shift. read more

I've been coming to this gym almost 2 years and there's literally been treadmills that don't work or have a malfunction in the women's section as well as the general area that have never been fixed this whole time. A few months ago the lights went out in the women's sauna, which a lot of us were ok with and enjoyed the darkness and all of a sudden today the lights are back on and working, giving full brightness. I'm just not understanding how actual exercise equipment can go without being fixed for years, but lights get fixed in a few months. Makes no sense. On top of that the women's section and the women's theater room has no A/C. It literally feels like im going to pass out sometimes if I do a good run and there's no air circulating in there and it feels like a sweat box in there especially when it's full but no one wants to fix that. I've mentioned this to the front desk and management a few times over the past year and I've noticed no difference. As much money as this company makes, this is unacceptable. We'd rather the lights be off in the sauna and have working equipment. It's very evident that no one is doing a walk through to see if everything is functioning in this place. And when are you guys going to extend the hours? You close too early. read more

Right now, not impressed. Seems Texas Family Fitness, North Fort Worth is closing their location and Fitness Connection purchased the memberships, even though my membership is supposed to have been cancelled and Texas Family Fitness keeps sending me in circles with no one to talk too or will take responsibility. Zero website available to even view your financial method of payment (even though you can sign up online, which I did). Who would ever think it's ok to buy another club's memberships, which FC is double the distance from my house, and think it's ok to do so? This doesn't look good for Fitness Connection. Maybe they are a great club, but right now I view both clubs as scams that lock your money up where you cannot have access to your payment accounts. I have already CANCELLED. It is not this hard. WHY is this not illegal now in 2022. STOP messing with my bank account when I've told them to stop/cancel/cease. Good grief. UPDATE: Called FC customer service number, took 45 minutes on hold, Finally a lady answered. She didn't know anything, had to put me on hold again for her to find out if any of this was true about them buying TFF contracts. Held another 15 for her to disconnect. TT Jake at TFF location. He didn't know, threw me into a hold. Another guy named, Ricky, 12/16 systems will merge. He wasn't sure about a lot but he did confirm the merging. UPDATE: 12/7 I see FC responded. Basically stating the same as mine. I did cancel with TFF and have been battling them and to make matters worse, my alleged membership was sold without my consent to a totally different brand of gym - further from my home!! Are you kidding! Who in their right mind would ever think that is ok without asking the member? OH, the greedy shady companies. I don't like FC. If I did I would have joined it! The norm is if a gym is closing and another of the same brand is not nearby, or even if you are moving and one is not nearby, it would automatically cancel the membership, regardless. No matter what your excuse is, it is horrible business practices and cast a none to flattering shadow on Fitness Connection. So MY gym is closing and FC thinks oh well, we'll just force you to come over, continue to pay and drive further. THINK AGAIN people. read more

This Fitness Connection is an awesome facility! I love how they're handling the Covid-19 pandemic safety measures. I feel safe and comfortable working out here. The staff is very professional! One of the front desk staff members, Talia in particular loves her job and is very attentive to the members. If I have any questions she seems more than happy to help. She's always greets members with a smile as they walk through the front door and asks if they would need anything ( water etc) to assist with members workout. I've been going to Fitness Connection since it opened and every time I'm there the facility is clean, the staff greets me at the door when I come in and when I leave. The atmosphere is always good and if your looking for a place to get in shape or stay in shape then Fitness Connection is the place to go. read more
