Zero stars. The new management is crap. They don't know what they're doing and aren't qualified for the job.

Brand new gym. Excellent staff. Great prices on trainers (much cheaper than LA Fitness and other gyms). Changing rooms. Check it out!

I listened to what Ryan said about the types of food to eat and when, which was anything but bland or boring.

This is an update to my October 2025 review : Since December 4th the GreenTree Sportsplex Fitness…read moreCenter has been under construction. The renovation has been slow and uncomfortable to workout. Jan 24th there was very little workout equipment. Feb 22nd there is more equipment but still only 4 treadmills. Still very much under construction and a note that March 1st my couples membership would increase to $75 ($49.99 + $24.99) monthly. I spoke with the new fitness manager who advised construction should be complete by June. I requested my membership was cancelled with the customer service person at the front desk that day. My credit card was charged on Feb 28th. My husband emailed today March 2nd and I will follow up in person to cancel my membership.

I know about how people love that new, well-greased equipment. I know about how people like their nationwide memberships and multiple convenient locations. Greentree doesn't fit those descriptions. At all. Which is actually why it's so awesome. From their simple, easy-to-navigate website: "The Greentree SportsPlex has always prided itself on being a friendly multi-sport family fitness facility, catering to the fitness fanatic, weekend warrior, and young athlete alike. Our staff is comprised of professional athletes, former collegiate student-athletes, and exercise enthusiast who take pride is helping our members with their fitness and health goals, no matter how small or large the goal is." Hidden at the top of a windy hill, this place is the epitome of of gritty, down-to-earth fitness. I have attended Marcy's hardcore Zumba classes on Mondays, and she is a rockstar. I've been to my fair share of Zumba classes, and her choreography is challenging yet fun and very dance-oriented, which I love. She integrates her dance background very well, and her song choices are always top notch. She also adds a great ab workout at the end. Kids run around getting ready for soccer practice, and there are activities for people of all ages and walks of life. Drop in classes are only $7, which is less than many fitness centers' package classes. The facilities may be older, but they are very clean and they provide towels if you need them. Accessible and caters to exactly the audience that its mission states it caters to. I like it.

I wanted to try n shed some of this baby weight & I wanted try sumthing new. Boy did a make a mistake! The bald headed instructor was a complete jerk to me. Making me feel ashamed about not being able to keep up with the class. Hey buddy. It was my first time working out on years. Anyways I don't recommend this place. Who wants to get yelled at by people who think they are better than you because they are fit? Who wants to feel ashamed about their bodies by instructors who are supposed to be there to help and motivate? Won't be me. Never again. Bye Felicia

They make every new member feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. They have a great focus on technique - they are constantly making sure that everyone is doing the moves correctly and will help you adjust if you're not. They're also extremely vocal with encouragement and just letting you know when you're killing it. Besides all of that, any class you take here will be a great workout and have you leave feeling incredible and energized. For anyone on the edge of trying a class here - take the chance and find your new favorite workout!

The members and number of trainers have grown immensely from when I started but the customer service is still the same. Everyone from the owners to the trainers to the members are great.... Down to earth, encouraging, etc. These are group workouts that push you but everyone does it at their own level so it works. I unfortunately had to leave the gym due to factors beyond my control but after I get resituated and back on a regular schedule I will be calling Gina to reinstate me at PKB. Not sure what I miss more, the workouts or the people/trainers/owners.

There is nothing wrong with traditional weight lifting. I just fell in a rut and did the same exercises at the same times during the week. PKP really mixes it up. I have been to 4 classes and exposed to 3 different instructors. The workouts are different and more circuit consistency. The participants are super helpful for newbs like me. The trainers are very conscientious to ensure you do not hurt yourself. They make sure your form is on point and urge you to use lighter weights. The classes are well organized (usually split into groups and the groups are doing different exercises). Overall - it is a high recommend. I am still not able to do everything the veterans do, but I am getting better each day. Tip - I learned from a veteran - wear sandles / flip flops and put your shoes on once you are inside. The entire floor is matted so they ask you not to have a different pair for inside so you do not track water, salt, dirt, etc... Overall: Atmosphere - Fun, Busy, the hour goes fast Cost - surprisingly very affordable. This would be ideal to augment a gym. Cheaper than a personal trainer and you get huge benefits Routines - very different - I don't think I have done the same thing once in the past 2 weeks of going.
