She takes the time get to know you and your eating habits and will create a workout and suggest a meal plan that works for you! I love that she does not rush me through a workout and checks to ensure that my posture is correct so that I do not injure myself. I've been training with Wendy for the past five months and she's amazing. I was completely out of shape when I started but she worked with me and now I've seen amazing results in a short amount of time--I'm way stronger, have lost several inches, and get compliments all the time. I trained with Wendy for a couple of months and I felt so much healthier mentally and physically. I had to move, so unfortunately, had to end my sessions. She definitely teaches you beyond in the gym session. She coaches you on food choices and has great recipes on her website. Definitely go check that out! I baked some great cookies she posted that were vegan and delicious! In terms of training: She trains you in a private gym at Umbria Apartments in Irvine, which is perfect because you don't have the crowd like a 24hr fitness and sometimes there's no one in there! Wendy works with the results you want and motivates you. She measures your body fat and see's what you ideal body fat should be. I wasn't competing in any competition, but I know she does train some people for them and their results look amazing! Cost was reasonable. I got my training sessions during a special she was holding and paid $35 per session, which is great for personal 1:1 training. Overall, I'd highly recommend her for personal training. I've been training with Wendy for 7 months now and I can honestly say I'm the most satisfied with my health and fitness than I've ever been in my life. I've always fluctuated with my weight and when I began with Wendy I was the heaviest I've ever been. Training with Wendy has completely changed my relationship with food and fitness! My routine had gotten super "meh" during covid and I wanted to jump start my metabolism and fitness routine BIG TIME so I started working with Wendy about 6 weeks ago; within a few weeks, I felt stronger, more confident, and excited to work out again. I've always been too lazy and scared to try weight training, but Wendy eased me into it and has made it so accessible. I started training with Wendy at the end of last year. She has been amazing as a trainer as well as incredibly supportive. I have a history of bad back and neck problems as well as knee issues. She is the first trainer that I have worked with which has been very good about choosing exercises that keep the stress on those areas low. I still feel sore after but in a good way. I am already seeing a difference in my body and great a great work out with her. I also like that it is not so hard that you feel like vomiting. I feel like I get very good personal attention from Wendy. She is just much more down to earth and more in touch with her clients then the trainers have worked with a large corporations. Wendy is amazing. She really knows her stuff. I trained with her for about a year and my husband trained with her for several years. Sadly we moved out of the area but we both really miss training with her. She did an amazing job keeping our workouts fun and getting me strong and in shape.
