That was a 2. Five years earlier, I had been in the best shape of my life. Somewhere along the way, I lost my relationship with fitness. It wasn't just that I stopped going to the gym.     I've been going to 3D Fitness 4-5x/week for the past three years -- including all the way through…read moremy first pregnancy -- and it's easily one of the best decisions I've made. The workouts are strong, but that's not the differentiator. The community is. You see the same people consistently, and over time it becomes a tight, supportive group. It's rare to find a gym where you actually look forward to who's going to be there, not just what's programmed. Programming is thoughtful and well-balanced -- strength + high-intensity cardio -- and it never gets stale. Chris (owner/instructor) is especially good at reading people and pushing you just past where you think your limit is. You end up doing more than you expected, regularly. There's also real connection beyond the floor. They organize occasional events -- I recently did a cooking class with ~20 women from the gym -- and it adds another layer to the experience. I've always been active, but this is the first time in 20+ years I've been this consistent. That's not accidental -- it's because of the environment. If you want a place that will push you, keep you accountable, and make you want to show up, this is it.
