I have a friend who works here that recommended a 21 day trial special that is currently going on…read moreuntil July 9! I'm not done with my trial yet, but even after one week, I've already seen a lot of progress in my body. On day one, I was a little lost. Came in a little intimidated BUT Tara was so welcoming and helpful. Obviously you have to ease slowly into working out again if your body isn't used to it, but every coach gives you different moderations of the circuit workouts so that you don't hurt yourself. They listen to your needs and prior injuries and health concerns to make sure you're not straining yourself, but still working hard to get that workout done! What's most important to them is that you're moving. You don't have to go too hard if you can't, they're just proud that you even took the step of showing up! There's a different kind of workout each day of the week that concentrates on different sections of the body or the workout technique of the day from cardio to leg day to arm day to athletic training, etc. It is a little pricey for a membership, but if you can squeeze it into your budget, I definitely think it's worth it. You can tell in your every day movements that burn has been helping. I'm breathing better during any other physical activities (like going up the stairs lol you can't tell me that you don't try to hide your breath going up some stairs sometimes. I'm usually winded, but the other day, I CHOSE to go up the stairs instead of the elevator. Who am I??), I'm getting up without grunting, I'm choosing better for my bodily health. It's so nice! And honestly what I needed for this summer. Hope you guys get the chance to check it out!

It's a little on the pricey side but it's so worth it ! It's located in a good area and easy to get to. The gym is clean and organized, following CDC guideline!

H O P E / F I T / V A…read more I wanted to give it some time before formally reviewing Hope Fit VA. I started coming to Hope Fit when they first opened. I specifically came to break the monotony of my workouts at Onelife. I thought, what a perfect way to break the monotony than by doing something "fun" that is also a workout. Tada, enter "Bungee Fitness"! H O P E / F I T / V A I am typically an introvert with extroverted moments, so group fitness has never been my thing. However I must say this husband and wife duo (Quinton & Sary) know how to make you feel welcome and included. Atmosphere - This place is clean! Crap isn't all over the place, there isn't a ton of people, or intimidating "meat heads" (sorry). Multiple bathrooms with showers. The bungee fitness is separate from the personal training side. Sary leads Bungee Fitness and Q does personal training on the other side. The choice of music while working out is perfect for me! H O P E / F I T / V A Service - "With a smile"! Sary engages everyone in her class. She truly wants to make sure you are getting what "you" intend to get from the class/workout. She is truly accommodating to everyone's needs. She passes out water when she sees you don't have any. It's not uncommon to see Q pop in to get some footage of the class. Sary isn't too serious, she's fun, bubbly and often laughing with the rest of the class, because let's face it... it's fun to bounce around. H O P E / F I T / V A Workout - The beginners class is truly achievable for all shapes, sizes, ages. They are even staring to include children 13 and up. Each person gets to choose how much effort and energy they're putting into their individual workouts. You will do jumping jacks, squats, burpees, knee flys, planks and jogging. If you're like me, you're a sucker for technique, and going "full out" as much as possible. It is totally up to you. Sary has recently took it up a notch by adding the use of weights and resistance bands. This addition to the class with double burpees, lunges, and sharpening everyone's techniques is so up my alley. I love to feel the burn, love to sweat, this is my type of workout. H O P E / F I T / V A Understand that if and when you start bungee fitness, you have to start somewhere. If you are a hardcore gym junkie adjust your expectations for the level 1 class, just enjoy and have fun. If you're anything like me, stick around and you will get to the more intense stuff. I like this type of workout "fun", and want to keep it incorporated into my weekly workouts. Pricing - They are currently updating plans to accommodate number of classes per week/ month. Initially I got 10 classes for the month for $100, and couldn't get them all in. That's too many for me in one month. Oh did I mention they give out discount cards for Krave, which is located next door? What are you waiting for? H O P E / F I T / V A

Then this is the place to visit! I tried the beginner bungee class tonight and had a great time! Instructions were given very clearly. If I didn't feel comfortable with the bungee or my harness, they adjusted and made corrections immediately. I enjoyed how the class wasn't too big where one could feel lost in numbers. More of my friends and family want to give it a try so I will definitely be back!

I'm definitely not a pro but coming to Ilovekickboxing makes me feel like one! The staff is friendly and really motivating and the workout area is spacious. The classes start off promptly with a 15 minute warm up which ALWAYS kicks my butt! It's perfect for getting my heart rate up and prepares me for the six bag rounds. In between the warm up and bag rounds, the trainer leads us through stretches and informs us of any specials or events going on during the month. The bag rounds consist of different combinations of punches and kicks and the trainer goes around making sure everyone understands the combos and is performing them properly. After bag rounds, we do partner rounds and it's perfect for the cool down phase. It's a bit expensive but there's different types of memberships offered. I got the 65 class card and I can come into the facility for any class time and it lasts for a year or until I run out of classes. The only thing I wish they would do is clean the mats between classes...definitely since most people workout with bare feet in the facility!! Overall I really enjoy the classes here and I love how they always have contests going on to boost our motivation!

They called me immediately after signing up…read moreseveral times to schedule my first class and even when I did finally schedule, they were still calling me trying to get me to follow there Facebook, and confirm that I was coming to my class. The staff also would call and ask me several questions about why I'm choosing this gym and just all kinds of unnecessary things in my opinion so I had to quit answering the calls. There's nothing wrong with selling but sheeshhh, the sales thirst is real here. When I arrived to my first class I was given the grand tour then I received my free pair of gloves which were in the color black. I wanted pink instead and had to pay 15$ extra for that. You will also need to purchase wraps for your hands. so keep that in mind. when you purchase the bundle, only the gloves will be free. Long story short, I made it to my first class and loved it. The instructors are really good, and take there time with you. But of course after completing my first class more sales pitching was pushed my way. I wish they would start trying to sell you the membership after your last class which makes sense because damn Pam, its my first class, can I try all 3 to determine whether I want to join or nah? What was more annoying was the membership fee which was a whopping 145$ per month for 12 months! With an initiation fee of 150! but if you sign up your first class (hence why they pitch the member ship to you so soon) the initiation fee will be brought down to 50$. I was sooo looking forward to getting a membership here. I really like this place, its a very fun way of working out compared to the gym but 145$ a month is not affordable for me. I used to belong to Title Boxing and there membership was only 74.99 so I came in expecting a price point of that nature not 145$. Oh well, back to the gym I go.

He too can train and get a workout in while building up self confidence, self discipline and learning about health & wellness Overall I highly recommend this sports training facility. Many athletes come here to train and prepare for their semi professional and professional fights. Some come to spar or simply keep in shape I come to keep in shape and one on one training sessions because I love fitness and live a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy smaller boot camp style classes and not going to a large gym. Smaller gyms feel more like home to me vs bigger gyms you can get overwhelmed with all the machines and feel lost in the sauce, if you know what I mean. Lol If you want to try something new and shake up your old workout routine or simply want to join me for a workout I extend an invite. It's lots of fun.
