I am writing because the situation with one of your janitorial staff has become completely…read moreunacceptable, and I am done tolerating it. This is not a minor annoyance--this is repeated harassment, targeted behavior, and a blatant lack of professionalism from someone who has no business confronting members the way he does. This janitor has approached me multiple times in the locker room, following me around to lecture me about "making the floor wet" because I came out of the sauna sweating. Meanwhile, there are always several other members exiting the sauna at the same time, equally sweaty and using the facilities exactly the same way I am. He stares at them, says nothing, and then zeroes in on me. Every. Single. Time. Let me be incredibly clear: sweating in a gym--especially coming out of a sauna--is *normal*. Expected. Literally the entire point of the facility I'm paying to use. The fact that your employee thinks it's appropriate to tell a member to "stop sweating" is absurd. The fact that he told me to wipe down the floors myself because I was "too sweaty" is even more ridiculous. And the fact that he escalated this by running to the front desk to complain about me sweating is beyond unprofessional. He has threatened to "report me" to management for doing absolutely nothing wrong. I'm telling you right now: I will not to be harassed by an employee for using the gym properly. I will not be singled out while others are ignored. And I will not tolerate being followed or spoken to in a disrespectful, confrontational way in the locker room. I've been a loyal member here for more than three years. I pay for access to the sauna and locker room like every other member. If your staff cannot handle the incredibly basic reality that people sweat at a gym, then your training and supervision protocols need immediate attention. I expect this issue to be addressed swiftly and directly. If this continues, I will cancel my membership and make it very clear why. I am not going to keep paying for a hostile or uncomfortable environment created by an employee who seems more focused on harassing members than doing his job.

Whether it was Ballys, Golds, World Gym, Anytime Fitness, Washington Sport, etc....I have seen a lot of different types - all with different costs and hours. So, when walking into Snap Fitness, I kind of known what to expect: inexpensive, low maintenance, just enough equipment, etc - again, I had been a member @ a 24 hour gym before (and I actually prefer them). The good: -Gym is clean -Gym has a vast selection of equipment for the size -Gym is open 24/7 The bad: -Smaller than normal (or compared to other 24hr gyms) -Not cheap for size, especially considering there are a lot of other gyms nearby -When I approached the staff to ask if they had a particular machine, they were a bit snotty and rude. I was informed they would NEVER have one of those (pull up assist machines) I never went back, and don't plan on having that place as even a back up gym. One Life fitness and Planet Fitness are cheaper and offer more - with nicer staff.

If you are considering joining, please be aware of these "fine print" rules that were not verbally disclosed to me at signing: The "Freeze" Fee: If you need to put your account on hold for personal reasons, expect a $35 monthly holding fee that isn't mentioned upfront. The "Active Status" Catch: You cannot terminate your membership while it is on hold. Your account must be active to submit a 30-day notice. This forces you to pay for another full month of membership just to quit. The "Immediate" Exit Tax: If you want to bypass the 30-day notice because of these hidden hurdles, they charge an immediate $100 termination fee. I consider myself a reasonable person; had these fees been explained during the sales pitch, I would have accepted them as part of the terms. However, when I brought these concerns to the manager, the response was dismissive and focused solely on collections rather than customer retention or transparency. The Pilates is great, but the contract is designed to squeeze extra money out of you the moment life gets in the way. Read every single line of the fine print before you sign, because the staff likely won't tell you the truth about the exit costs.
