My doctor requires yearly quantitative "Fitness and Mobility Tests" which have shown continuous improvements and is very happy with the gym that I have picked. The environment is amazing and feels like family. The variety of the group classes is tremendous and the personal training is very specific to your needs......no two classes/training are the same.....no such thing as hitting a plateau!!!!!! I have seen major improvements not only in strength and stamina but also balance and coordination.

When she finally got in touch with them to resolve, Joe called her a liar and YELLED AT HER! I can't believe this - I was going to join too but now I'm so disgusted with the unprofessional behavior, I wouldn't dare. If that's how you treat a prospective client, how's it going to be once they already have your money? Joe - If you are trying to increase your market to include more women, maybe you should learn how to listen, speak to and treat women first.

Lake Hopatcong is totally no nonsense. Old school weights and equipment. A bit snug if it is a little crowded but gets the job done. No real locker room and no showers. Rockaway is the largest of the three. A bit newer equipment and more spread out. This is the location I visit the most as I go after work, never feel cramped in there. No formal locker room, but there are lockers on the main floor. There are 3 changing rooms and 1 shower room... I can't imagine that being a bit hectic for the before work crowd. Stanhope is the newest location. a bit smalller than Rockaway, but a nice layout. All newer equipment, clean, nice layout. Only been there a handful of times. This location has a formal locker room, with separate changing room and 3 shower stalls in the mens locker room. Cant speak for the womens locker room. Overall, Stanhope is a very nice spot. My only gripe, and it is with all 3 locations are the treadmills. Lake Hopatcong, can barely get them to operate. Rockaway, 1 is broken, 1 has a deck that isn't level and is broken, the rest are ok. Stanhope has the newest ones, but of the 8, 5 had slipping belts that make it dangerous to walk on, let alone try to run or jog, one is super noisy. I get it, these gyms are geared more towards lifting weights and body building, not oblivious to that. A day of maintenance on the treadmills would get 5 stars. Aside from the treadmills, I really like all 3 locations.

Over the last several years, every couple months I receive a bill from this establishment that I do not belong to anymore. I have demanded that my card info be taken from their files for years and they have PROMISED me every time I ask them to that it will be handled. I have been charged membership fees when I don't belong there, maintenance fees when I believed I hadn't had a card on file with them in years, and I have even been charged the fee for a random person buying a protein shake while I was in a completely different state. I have photo evidence of literally all of this. And the cherry on top? In the past I have been able to contact the owner to get these wrongful billings resolved. At the moment I am pursuing legal action because I have had hundreds of dollars wrongfully stolen from me at this point. This was literally my favorite gym ever, and they have done nothing but treat me like garbage. The final straw was me reaching out to the owner about another wrongful billing. He ghosted me for a week, and when I sent a follow up text I saw that I was blocked. Update: Mychael responded to my first review claiming that he does not contact anyone via this email. I attached photo evidence proving the contrary. Second Update: The manager Ron told me I "Do not have a leg to stand on" after I brought up serious legal concerns to the customer support email address that Michael told me to contact. The new owners completely upgraded the gym and repaired everything that needed to be repaired. Many windows with natural light. Open and inviting. Most important, very clean.
