Coach Way…read moreand Coach Z have such positive attitudes and pay special attention to each person individually, really giving me the most out of my workout. I look forward to booking classes three to four times a week and enjoy how unique each day is and how they find new ways to train all the muscle groups- it never gets old and always keeps me on my toes! I'm met with a smiling hello from everyone when I walk through the door and I especially appreciate that the coaches are right by our side during the workouts (and sometimes they're actually in the classes with us), encouraging us to keep going and push a little harder. Coach Sarah and Coach Jackie are always so motivational and make the workouts fun, even when I'm drenched in sweat I'm still having a great time! They even offer group challenges and prizes so you have the opportunity to be part of a team, work together, and meet new people in your classes. Coach Z is knowledgeable in nutrition health and made a difference in my body by helping me calculate the specific diet I needed to get the results I wanted - and it worked!!! Whether you're looking to shed a few pounds, tone up, or just get active and healthier, Max Impact is the place to be!!

Chrome is a gem for fitness, empowerment, and community. I've taken pole classes, twerk workshops,…read moreand conditioning classes. I've always felt supported and uplifted by those around me. This is a great place to explore a new activity, strengthen your body and surprise yourself. Marcy, the owner, is incredible at running this business and coaching us to safely push ourselves towards our goals. Love it!

The facility itself was nice and the reception staff was friendly and customer service-oriented. I walked in about 10 minutes before class. There was one person in the lobby and the receptionist was on the phone. She was so busy answering the questions of the person the phone, that by the time she addressed me to fill out newbie paperwork and pay for the class, I ended up being late. She was still talking to the potential customer on the phone. This review is based on the Sunday Zumba Class at 3:00pm. While I personally did not enjoy the class and probably would not take another Zumba class at Chrome, I am open to trying the facility again for a pole dancing class for the novelty. It's also their specialty and I have a feeling that it reflects in all their fitness classes. The classes (all) are not cheap and neither is membership, so I suggest you try a class or two before committing to a membership or class pass. Have you ever taken a Zumba class? Have you mastered Zumba moves to the advanced or expert level? Have you taken years of dance and can quickly catch on to a complex string of steps/turns that repeat maybe 3-4 times per song? Can you read minds so that you know when the instructor will change steps or direction without hand signals or verbal cues? Are you in top physical shape with no current(or remnants of past injuries, especially knee) issues? Can you handle a high impact, high energy class without a warm-up routine that ramps up in energy/impact or any slower intermediary routines (for at least 45 minutes)? If you answered "NO" to any of these questions, this class is not for you! I, by no means, would not call myself a Zumba beginner, but I am in no way an expert either. This class is not for those with physical issues of any kind (especially knee issues), even if you have experience in modifying moves. In the hundreds of Zumba classes I have taken, this was the class I enjoyed the least...so much so that I walked out before the class ended. Correction, I limped out. Though I modified moves (at least those steps I could follow), there were so many turns and direction changes that my knee couldn't take it. Oh well, lesson learned.

Yay for visiting new studios! I finally visited this location for a class on Sunday and I…read moreabsolutely loved it. I got the friendliest and fun reminder texts the day before that got me excited for the workout. The staff were all so welcoming and kind and the coach I had was great, too. The location and equipment is really nice and new. Overall, I loved it and I'll be back for more classes at Broad Ripple!

The best most addictive workout around! I've been a member of Orangetheory for 3 years and probably…read morespent at least 1/3 of my time taking classes at this location. Its got great coaches & staff and is super easy to book classes using the app. What to expect - If you've never taken a class at any studio before, let me break it down for you. Each class has 3 parts. A treadmill portion, a rowing portion and a free weights portion. The coaches guide you through what you should be doing on the treadmills, and rowers and demo all the weights for you to go at your own speed on the floor. Once you get into it, you will understand the buzzwords of Base, Push and All Out on the treads so you know how fast to go as a jogger/runner or what incline to hit as a power walker. Rowing is about strokes per minute and wattage (60% legs, 20% arms, 20% core). You'll have a warm up, and hard workout and a cool down all in an hour. Hot Topic - COVID. This place uses a temp check at the door, and gives you hand sanitizer upon walking in. Masks are required, just not while you're at your set station exerting yourself during the workout (but anytime you move from your station). You wipe down the equipment you use after use (can even do it before too) and the entire studio is fogged/sanitized in between classes. I feel more safe here than at the grocery store. If you're feeling overwhelmed, don't! Everyone is SO nice and happy to help with your form, help you find what pace is best for you and encouraging. Its definitely not easy, but its doable. I ran marathons prior to joining orangetheory and I'm pretty sure I went a threw up after my first class LOL but I'm still here 3 years later!
