Update from my review over 2 years ago:…read more I originally left a 5-star review a couple of years ago, and I'm back to say it still stands -- if not more so! TitanUp Fitness is the kind of gym you Want to stay at, not just try for a day or a week. I've been training here for about three years now, and it's easily the most consistent I've ever been with strength training. The trainers genuinely care about form, progress, and safety -- not just rushing you through a workout. Whether you're newer to lifting or have experience, you're coached in a way that actually helps you get stronger and more confident. The community here is another huge reason I keep coming back. Everyone shows up to work, but it never feels intimidating or cliquey. It's motivating without being overwhelming, which is hard to find in a strength-focused gym. If you're looking for real coaching, solid programming, and a gym that actually makes you want to stay consistent long-term, TitanUp delivers - that's it; plain and simple.

My first class was Boot Camp with Renee. She was amazing. She made sure I perform every exercise…read morecorrectly! I felt right at home. I also really like that they include resistance training, core stabilization exercises, cardio, stretching in the workouts. The classes are small, which gives the instructor the opportunity to help everyone, like a personal trainer!

If you are more than 5 minutes late, you cannot take the class. They also demand you follow the workout template EXACTLY even though different customers have different fitness levels, especially considering the weight floor. No grey areas or flexibility. Again, I've been to at least 50-100 studios, I've seen MUCH beter. This is definitely a management issue, after visiting so many great studios this one stinks. Finally, they hired an absolutely insufferable instructor "Alyx". "Alyx" was obnoxious to deal with and quite unlikable compared to other OTF instructors (almost all of them are great). She was also overweight and out of shape, which is odd. Why would a fitness studio hire a coach who's out of shape? Kind of like relying on financial advisor who's about to declare personal bankruptcy. A head scratcher there..

Communication is awful and Management is clearly lacking. I've been with orange theory in general…read morefor about 3 years and this particular studio has left the worst taste in my mouth. I've been trying to cancel for the past 3 months and someone just got back to me last week.... Apparently my cancelation form from last week was mishandled because I now have to submit yet another one after I got verbal confirmation that it was received the first time. Complete bullshit. The excuse was that the manager is overseeing 3 studios? Tacky Leadership.

Still in business after the covid shutdown…read more Great atmosphere, great session. Oh, you will work.. sweat and need water. You will also feel more able when you leave. I've never boxed before, they take it slow and work with you. The trainer is great; he has loads of energy and keeps you moving. Definitely headed back. Driving directions will lead you to the back of the building. The boxing yard entrance is on the corner.

Completely humbled by the hour long session here. Made me realize I'm not in as good as shape as I thought I was. The yard is completely unassuming, grungy, hot and humid, beat up, ghetto, old school, and hidden off the side of the road in an old warehouse in springfield. Perfect. Monday through Thursday from 6pm - 7pm and Saturday from 9am - 10am you get an hour long intense cardio workout with a mixture of different exercises that Hector will break you down with. Want to take a break or rest a little without being told to? Be ready because Hector will get on your ass immediately and get you going again! These hour long sessions are a group fitness class that combines fundamental boxing techniques with calisthenic (bodyweight resistance) exercises to improve stamina, power, and tone. Expect a full-body workout through various boot-camp-style drills, shadowboxing, jumping rope, footwork, punching heavy bags, and abdominal exercises. Memberships consists of $10 drop-in, $99 monthly, or $299 for personal training. It's a blast and I can't wait to train here more often. Lots of good people here in a friendly competitive environment where everyone wants to push themselves to the max. Don't worry if you've never boxed before. Things to know and bring: Get a set of decent boxing gloves (I paid 40 bucks for mine and they work just fine - 16oz Title Classic gloves - I'm 5'10" 180lbs), hand wraps (not required but can help with the bags after repeated hitting), bring lots of water, bring a towel, yoga matt if you have one for the ab session at the end, good workout shoes, light workout clothes, come motivated, geared up to sweat, and ready to work your ass off.

Her knowledge and dedication add to my desire to eliminate the culprits. I had been there years ago, Cross Training San Marco. So I knew the work would vary and it would be intentional. The location is small but oh so friendly. THEY ARE FOCUSED! My left foot, right ankle, and lower back do ache. While under doctors' supervision ALL are strengthening. Once we went for a walk afterward. I walked around the neighborhood with Fhanta and dumbells in my hands. Before I knew it I had covered around 5 blocks I guess. We talked and walked no pain to it! They offer a lot of stuff! So a five or more is what I give Fhanta THE INTENSE KILLER and Cross Training San Marco! I miss Mike.

For years my wife had been trying get me to work with a trainer. I always felt that I had a pretty good grip on how to exercise but after reaching a new record in my waistline and on the scale (Not the good kind.) I figured that I better try something different because the way I going things were not looking pretty. In comes CTSM! Actually at the time I was looking for a trainer I took a consultation workout at another gym just up the street. Or should I say I was... When told the guy that I was going to also to a consultation workout at CTSM he said, "Oh. Well your going to get a much more intense workout there." That was exactly what I was looking for! I trained with Mike on the initial consultation and it was intense. Thereafter I workout with Sean for about 6 months and dropped a modest 33lbs. I was feeling pretty good having reached my goal so I took up working out on my own again. During the months of November and December I tried out the Boot Camp instructed by Chris and it kicked my butt too. Started coasting.... And the weight was creeping back. So I've started training again with Sean again and I've already lost 11lbs since March.

I was not active at all prior to staring at OTF. They still welcomed me in and made me feel comfortable even though I had no clue what I was doing. They offer different levels of workouts depending on your activity levels. I started out on the lower tier and have already worked my way up to being able to run and jog -- I am really seeing a difference. The workouts are pretty intense but it's a take-it-as-you-can style. They never make you overwork yourself or do things your uncomfortable with. I really enjoy the group setting and having the coaches giving direction because it encourages everyone to keep up the pace and to work as hard as they can! It can be a little intimidating but now that I've gotten into a routine here I don't see myself stopping. I'm seeing changes in my stamina and my body already and I'm looking forward to challenging myself even more as time goes on. I recommend coming in and consulting with a coach to get started, they even offer a free class or two if you're new!! No reason not to come give it a try.
