I love this class! I did the strength class which was pretty difficult. I would not recommend that for someone that knows nothing about rowing. Allison did a great job of helping me with my form, and helping me make modifications when needed. I think if I were to do this again I'd opt for not a strength class. I really loved that they emailed me my results from the class. Receiving this emails allows me to keep track of my progress and to continue getting better. I was not a big fan of the sales pitch I received at the end of class because it was my first time and I was using the app ClassPass. I'm planning on going back to try another class, probably an easier one, though I'm sure none of these are actually easy. Overall this was a fun and different experience that challenged me. read more

One of the best workouts I've gotten in a while! I thoroughly enjoyed my first row with Row House. Amelia provided a great class with good energy and good vibes. Definitely kept the momentum going. If you want a low impact cardio workout, check them out. They offer a variety of classes including the full row, signature, strength, intervals and restore. I went in for the express signature and loved that it was a combination of row exercise and floor exercise with weights. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. T'ra made sure I was super comfortable for my first class. Will most definitely be returning for more classes! read more

What an exhilarating experience! So I was lucky enough to avail an offer for a free class via IG. I didn't know what to expect. The great thing is that the free class was JUST THAT! No gimmicks. No annoying sales pitch. Just PURE ENJOYMENT from beginning to end. I'll start off by saying the vibe was just great the moment I walked in. I was greeted by a friendly smile and immediately felt less intimidated. I was given instructions on how to operate my rowing machine and just felt overall welcomed. Chris or Kris (not sure how she spells it) taught my class and she was wonderful! I love the selection of music and the pace of the workout. We do weighted exercises and stretches throughout the session and it felt like the entire hour went by! When I finished , my heart felt like it was beating out of my chest but I truly enjoyed myself! I'm so happy I tried the class! I highly recommend! read more

This was actually an amazing experience initially. I signed up after taking advantage of a free class offered on Facebook. I called the owner a day later and advised that I actually didn't want to enroll. Not only did she charge me right away while on the phone, but was insensitive as to why I couldn't enroll. I explained to the owner that I'd had a death in the family and that I did not know when I would return to the city. The owner deliberately told me that I would need to come in to cancel my membership. After arriving two weeks later, she told me that she needed a 30-day notice and that I would be charged again. read more

I love everything about Row house! Easy convenient location. Never have an issue with parking. Someone behind the counter is always smile. Coaches are knowledgeable and motivating. It is such a mixed crowd of adults it is just a wonderful atmosphere. Row house is where I got my mojo back! The work out on the erg machine is easy and low impact on my joins the intensity and length is perfect. I have seen amazing results! Highly recommend to anyone even slightly interested. read more

Row House - Meet me at the catch! - Cardio Classes Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

I really liked the classes and felt that they were a fun & effective workout. However, it's VERY difficult to cancel. I haven't been to a class in 6+ months and have given the required 30 day cancellation notice, yet they continue trying to charge my card (had to file a dispute with credit card company). They require you to go in person to speak to the owner for any major issues (which is inconvenient for most). I found the owner to be very insensitive and since they're a franchise corporate isn't able to step in for any disputes. read more

Fantastic high-intensity workout. The staff here are super welcoming, particularly if you are a new comer to indoor rowing. They offer a variety of different classes - I opted for the "Strength" class which breaks up two intervals on the erg (rowing in rhythm with the instructor) with an extended set off machine. That particular class focused on upper body, where everyone had their own free weights and personal space near their machine. If you enjoy cycle/spin, boxing, or other types of high energy group-fitness classes, you will easily enjoy this! read more

I'm a huge fan of group fitness but never expected that Row House would have the impact on me that it has. From the energy in the lobby as you enter, to the encouragement of the coaches, to the supportive cheerleaders you have in your fellow crew...it's the best experience! It's an exciting challenge to have your own personal goals that you work on from class to class while working together "as a boat" in shared split times. We cheer each other along as we meet personal milestones and encourage each other through setting goals. I've never worked out in such a supportive environment. No skill needed! Come as you are and learn as you go! I don't have cartilage in my knees and most activities strain that joint - here, I've been able to row free of knee pain. They teach technique and will work with you on your form. You won't find better coaches who care about your health and wellbeing while pushing you to always be better. Show up for yourself - I'm glad I did! read more

I was hesitant to try out the first class but Alicia was so helpful and encouraging. She was one of the instructors and had the whole class engaged. The rowing wasn't as difficult as I thought and I liked it. Compare to a spin class, I recommend this class. Low impact on the joints for sure but it's a good cardio workout. Definitely coming back and taking another class! read more

I have been coming since the beginning of March 2022 and I cannot stop hyping this place up. Not only do I feel stronger and more confident in my body but also the community that is here is healthy and encouraging. Building stronger bodies, minds, and people... together. We row as one! read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Nightmare trying to end membership to this place. Signed up on the website for a free trial went to one class and was offered a half off deal for first month of membership. Went to a couple of classes and decided that I did not want to continue with a second month. Absolutely NO WAY to end membership online. MUST go in to cancel and then you have to give a 30 day notice. Jumped through the hoops to cancel and it is now 60 days later and my card was charged AGAIN. Think about it. If you sign up for the half off deal, you are really signing up for 2 months on day one due to their 30 day notice policy. BAD BUSINESS. read more

Love Row House! I've been going there for about 6 months and I really enjoy the classes and instructors! The classes are varied and really give you a great workout. Highly recommend! read more

If you are thinking about it, DO IT! We have a great time and I have not met one single uncool person there. We show up, get sweaty and have a little cheer and chat after (totally optional of course, some people get right on with their lives!) No one will push you past your best or yell at you or make you feel bad for being a beginner. It's a great time and definitely worth a try! read more

I LOVE this place - earlier this year, I was looking for something different to push my body to start getting back into shape and stumbled upon Row House. It's about a 25 min drive for me to make it to San Marco, but it is well worth the drive. The instructors have been amazing and the workouts are fabulous. I highly recommend Row House!! read more
