(According to the menu the breading was tempura-style.) One thing you can tell if a fish is frozen is if the meat is dry after it is deep fried. That wasn't the case at The City Fish as the meat was moist. I did have a problem with the fries as they were soggy. Due to the texture I couldn't finish the whole serving of fries. I liked the size portion of the fish. The breading on the other hand wasn't tempura style and therefore not crispy enough as I expected. Overall The City Fish is a decent place if you want a quick bite to eat fish and chips.
