The ingredients were fresh and the bacon was delicious! They gave me 3 little containers of dressing, which was more than enough. My husband had the Chicago- ish dog and really liked it. The worker was patient and kind as we decided what to get and our food was prepared pretty quickly. They were not busy on this Saturday afternoon. The orders are to go and they have picnic tables available to eat at. The restaurant is located in an old brick house and the entrance is the black metal door. There are many great food choices in LaPlata, but this is a must try! I can't wait to try another salad!

The real surprise was the pickle fries. They were crunchy, tangy, well seasoned, and especially good with the dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of creative choices beyond ordinary hot dogs, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. The restaurant also has a welcoming, family-owned feel that makes the experience even better. A fun local spot with great food and plenty of personality. Let's see how this stop turned out. We were able to get a table during lunch time where there was a good crowd on hand. Since it was the 4th, I expected there would be a few more. The staff was pretty busy taking care of diners and orders ready for takeout. It was a little warm inside, but it wasn't a surprise given the weather was really hot. And there was a fan literally behind is blowing out much needed air. The special they had for the 4th was $2.50 corn dogs and $2.50 PBR beer. We said no to beer, but couldn't resist corn dogs. My order consisted of two of them and a small order of cheese curds. Sophia ordered two corn dogs and a Roadhouse hot dog. This was the first time in a long time I'me had corn dogs so I couldn't resist given the special. And boy did they deliver. I actually started to get full after eating my first one. They were really good and well cooked. And great call to add cheese curds to the meal. Tasted great especially with the sauce. Sophia enjoyed her selections and had leftovers to take home as well. The fountain drink options included Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Lemonade, Mr. Pibb, etc. I was told this was their new location and the interior looked nice. However, when the restaurant got busy, it felt very cramped given their setup. There was a good amount of seating, however not much room to wait for your order without feeling like you are standing in the way when all seats were taken. The drink station was also all the way in the back and becomes a one way path when it gets busy. The path to get from placing your order at the cashier up at the front, to the drink area in the back, got slim when busy since people were sitting at the tables and the bar. Although my first time here was a bit overwhelming given how busy it was, this place was a great option to get your smash burger fix! They also have other options including hot dogs, chopped cheese, tacos, etc. so there's something for everyone!
