This is the second location of Fishbone that I've been to and they have both proven to be very charming, with a warm atmosphere and good food. This place fits right in with the Friday Harbour development. The decor is simple and elegant, with very tasteful lighting fixtures. There's a bar in the middle of the space, dividing the dining room. I assume they also have outdoor seating in warmer weather. I had come in for an early quick lunch. Browsing through their Portuguese inspired menu, it was hard to choose. Everything looked so darn good! I settled on the Uncommon Burger (Lamb & Beef, Bacon, Brie, Tomato, Red Onion, Lettuce Chiffonade, Piri Aioli, Brioche Bun, Fries). This burger was big, juicy, and very delicious! It had everything that I liked and they all worked well together. I had to squash it to get it in my mouth. Juices started running down my arm. That's a good thing! The fries were also excellent but I couldn't finish the generous serving. This was one of the better burgers I've had in a while! In addition to the great burger, the service was also excellent - friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back!

FishBone Kitchen locates in Friday Harbour resort. Not very far from Innisfill. The patio area has nice view of the marina; it was very airy and nicely setup with umbrellas for shade. I made reservations via Open Table and very easy. Service was friendly. We got seated immediately we checked in at the front. The menu is pretty similar to other locations. My table of 4 shared the appetizer and main course. We enjoyed every dish; seafood was very fresh and seasoned nicely. The portion was generous, and they didn't over priced especially in this kind of tourist area. Will definitely go back if I am in the area.

Sea food is the best and as I say, food and plates are warm so your food doesn't cool off quickly as in other restaurants.

We stumbled upon this place while visiting a good friend of ours. This place has a great open space…read morewith high ceilings. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the servers were very attentive. We ordered the steak, risotto with grilled chicken, miso cod, fish and chips and the ancient grains bowl. The steak was cooked to perfection. The risotto was creamy and umami-filled. The miso cod was light and was nicely paired with the coconut curry sauce. The fish and chips were 10/10, and the ancient grains was refreshing. Highly recommend the Leaping Horse Merlot 2021 Would definitely come back here!

If you're not fortunate enough to live there it's a great place for a visit, with entertainment, water sports, a nearby golf course, shopping, delicious food, and more! It reminds me of some places I've been to in Florida. Beautiful! We stopped in at Beach Club for something light to eat. Their lunch menu is a bit limited but that's not a bad thing. Everything looked so good, it took us a while to decide but we settled on the Watermelon and Halloumi Salad and the Lamb Kofta Pita. Both dishes were plated beautifully, with lots of colour. The salad stood out with appearance and flavour. Good call, Jennifer! The lamb/beef kofta was equally colourful and attractive. Delicious! A Spicy Mango Margarita was a great complement to this meal. The food at Beach Club was excellent and the service was outstanding! Highly recommended!

One of the popular restaurants at Friday Harbour. We made a reservation for 11 of us in advance but…read morewhen we arrived, the hostess informed us that there was no reservation made. Quite a rough start to our dining experience here, since it was confirmed over the phone from their staff previously. After some back and forth, I assume it was the manager, made it work for us, and we sat on their patio/ outdoor area. The restaurant indoor looked super cozy and cute! The staff here and service onwards was great so it really made up for the first hiccup when we entered. Food was good as well with some hit or misses: Burrata 5/5 - Came with proscuitto. Great starter with the creamy burrata and salty proscuitto. Caesar salad 4/5 - Nothing too special and can probably skip on this dish. But if you like caesar salads, this is a good palette opener. Rucola e Pera 4/5 - A good baby arugula salad with pear, toasted walnuts, parm and lemon vinaigrette. Frittura misa 5/5 - Can't go wrong with fried seafood. This came with calamari, black tiger shrimp and a lemon aioli. Perfectly cooked and quite delicious. Penne ala vodka 4/5 - Penne with rose sauce. It's a good dish but have had better in Toronto restaurants. Fettuccine ai funghi 5/5 - Creamy fettuccine sauce with wild mushrooms. Couldn't really taste the white truffle oil here but it's a good sharing dish since it's quite heavy. Funghi pizza 5/5 - Again, couldn't taste any truffle on this dish but was still good. Calabrese pizza 5/5 - Always a favourite pizza flavour. I asked for some honey on the side which really elevated this pizza for me. Linguine allo scoglio 5/5 - Nice, fresh seafood pieces and a great cherry tomato sauce. Special: rabbit 4/5 - Got adventurous and tried the rabbit dish. It tasted kind of like chicken and was pretty tender. Overall, a great dining experience if you're at Friday Harbour. Probably one of the better restaurants in the area.

We didn't bother to ask about the price as we were expecting it to be around the price of other menu items or just a bit more. But it was $100!!!!! What!??? The most expensive dish on the menu was like $60. I totally did not expect the steak to be $100. I found it was outrageous. Service was friendly. Ambiance was nice.

Good spot for a fun night out. Stopped by for dinner and got:…read more- Fillet with side Shishito Peppers and Mushrooms: Fillet was cooked to yhe perfect temperature and was lean yet tender. Shishito peppers had a nice bite, mushrooms were a tad salty. - Swinton Burger: It was ok, pretty standard burger. Patty had a nice pink tonight, though was a bit overcooked on the outside. Good amount of chunky fries. - Sticky Toffee Pudding: The definition of indulgence, as the pudding is drowning in a lake of sauce. - Sunshine Express: Refreshing cocktail. Absolute standout service that's welcoming and helpful. Kitchen is a bit slow, though likely due to the amount of guests they get. Prices are on the higher end. Vibe is elevated casual. Overall an enjoyable night out.

Staff were really nice and they made a great recommendation with adding the carrots as a side. If i had to recommend a unique side it would be the carrots! It was so flavourful- we were all amazed by them. We had to order a steak and they really can cook these well. You can see where they fire them up on the grill. We ordered everything to share - Steak, pasta( i can't remember which one), carrots, fries, chop house potatoes, lamb chops and sticky toffee pudding. Everything we ordered and ate was absolutely delicious and I would definitely be back to enjoy another meal here! The vibe is cool in there, a good option if you're looking for a fancier dinner in the area.
